It's gonna be fun watching all the Lebron fans rage against the idea that Steph is gonna be a better player than him at ages 36-38. He still looks like peak Steph every other night, and I really don't see him slowing down anytime soon.

When do you see LeBron slowing down, though?

He can probably play well into his 40's at this point. Question is how much longer does he look like a Top-15 or Top-20 guy.

Bill Simmons arrogance factor on the Celtics has already surpassed the 2018 pre season levels. Didn't think that was possible. We probably don't even need to play out the season.

Yeah, I played his latest pod in the car today. It's kinda funny. He can't mention any team without talking about the Celtics for five minutes then he has a separate Celtics segment.
His insights on the Bucks might be right but he thinks we are going to wait until December to question Griffin. He's wrong about that. Our hardcore fans know basketball well enough to have turned on Griffin days ago.

I knew Scoot Henderson was struggling but never looked at his stats until now. Putting up Anthony Bennett production would be an improvement.

Miller for Cha has been really solid so far though. Obviously a week in is too early too judge much. But Cha might've gotten lucky that having Ball already likely pushed them to take Miller in spite of the off court stuff. But who knows, Scoot could obviously still easily end up better and Miller could be in jail in 3 years.

Haven’t watched them but if Scoot is starting, they should just start Bragden and let Scoot get time against second units while he acclimated to the NBA.
Raises trade value for when they move Bregdan.

The Hornets might have one hell of an all felon team in due time.

As someone in their 40s who has to worry I'll get injured doing something sneezing these old athletes need to share some of these good drugs with the rest of us.
I don't have a problem with it, but theres just no way we're seeing athletes primes suddenly last an extra decade just because guys eat better and sleep more.

I don't see it. Lebrons 36-38 seasons were 2nd team All-NBA, 3rd, 3rd. Like Steph would have to not slow down at all to match that. Team wise, I think they are f-ed with Klay and Draymond. Unless he has a swan song somewhere else I think he is pretty much going to be irrelevant in 3 years.

I mean, Curry's making a pretty easy argument that he's still a Top-5 guy in the world at 35-years old, and he'll be 36 when the playoffs start. He keeps himself in fantastic shape and his game was always gonna age better than most players. So yeah, I don't think it's hyperbole at all. He might be the first guy since Kareem where I could legitimately see him still being a Top-10 guy at 38-39 with his shooting gravity. Lebron this season and last hasn't been a Top-10 player by anything other than reputation and box score numbers.

It's everything. Nutrition is huge. Food tailored to their bodies. Some foods are suboptimal for some people, it's different for everyone.
So they take tests and see what stuff doesn't promote healing, health, energy and only eat food that maximizes their specific body.
Sleep, meditation, maximizing mental health and conditioning. Tons of core work and doing next level stretching with pilates and yoga and stuff like that.
Some use hyberbaric chambers which is filled with oxygen to promote healing and recovery.
It's literally everything is analyzed and reviewed how to maximize. Nutrition is really a big one.
Sugars and anything that causes inflammation is out immediately.
Even you can take a food sensitivity test. It's NOT an allergy test. It's foods that your body doesn't do great with. I found out I have a gluten sensitivity. I won't have anything bad happen to me if I eat bread or pasta with gluten.... But I'll be a little bloated and a bit sluggish. Maybe my energy level is down 10-15%?
So an athlete will remove all these things. Giannis is going to have to radically change his diet in a decade if he wants to keep going in his late 30s and onward.
