I am not getting much done today

As one of those fans (Knicks in 5), I'll qualify by saying I think this will go similarly to the way the Boston series went for you last season where it's a relatively short series but one where the Pacers are tough in all of the games. A difference being I think there will be at least one game where we can't stop your offense and you run out in a blowout. I just think we have more talent than you do and we have a star who has just dominated late game situations when we get in close quarters. With Mitch back we have a huge advantage on the boards and he and Deuce McBride have formed lineups that are VERY hard to score on. We're also deeper now than when we last met so we should be able to keep some gas in the tank, unlike last year, unless something happens. I'd give you the coaching advantage but only slightly.

With that said, nobody should be looking past these Pacers. You have an elite offense, you're well coached, you've got versatile defenders, you're disciplined in late game situations, and you've got another year of seasoning. Even shorthanded, making quick work of those Cavs was a surprise to me. You can win and should be taken very seriously, which I know the Knicks will do.

So we'll see. We finally get to play the games though! Let's go!

It's because the only fans claiming that this series ends in 4 or 5 are Knicks fans.

Carlisle is a clown of epic proportions, when the series is 2-0 he'll make that stupid face he makes and then lobby to the NBA that its not fair, they're a small market team the whistle isn't even, blah blah blah, he can suck a fat one.

Come on, give him some credit. Carlisle won’t be complaining about the refs after winning 2 at the Garden. He’s classier than that. Now if it goes bad for the Pacers and they’re tied 1-1 maybe.

Was around for those days but didn't realize that the Pacers have been dominating the Knicks in the Playoffs. They're unbeatable in any era.

This should be a contrast of styles, a fast game favors pacers a lot while a slow pace pretty much guarantees a Knicks win. It's fun to see 2 different styles. Makes me remember those spurs suns series in mid 2000s

5-3 is anything but a domination. In 93-00 it was even 3-3 which is the original rivalry

In a way, he was ahead of his time. A lot of billionaires were at that time were remiss to show publicly that they were actually incompetent, arrogant, delusional, micro-managing pieces of human garbage but Dolan plowed ahead, paving the way for others to unmask their true selves to the world.
