Now if we can get a PG for Richards, Beal, Allen, Oneale, etc we doing good

I think the suns will get cap space or second rounders

Which is fine

Richards, Allen, and O'Neale should each net multiple second rounders from cellar dwellers or late first rounders from competitive teams.

Good draft. Good moves. I think we are headed in the right direction guys. Brea is the perfect replacement for Allen.

Could we do something like Beal for Ball/PWill/Stix?

That’s the rumor. Let’s see how it works out.

I am not a fan, but Gambo today said that Tyus Jones might want to come back.

Maybe Tyus could be more successful with a new coach that does not run an offense that tells the point guard to hand off to either Book or KD after he dribbles past mid court.

He is small but does have a great career assist to turnover ratio.

Reduce turnovers and get more rebounds. That means more shots. We drafted and traded for guys that will improve this teams rebounding. Next limit turnovers. If we do those two things we will be better than last year and not so depressing to watch.

Ball is on an expiring deal with a team option at the end at $10m
Stix has 2yrs and like $9.2m average
PWill is PWill.....forward with some range and defensive versatility. I don't like his contract or his career progression but....beats stretching Beal

So Brea is a Cam Johnson type pick?
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

LOL

I have no idea if this is real or not but after last season, I can't really see why he would. I don't know what his market is but he did apparently take less money for the starting opportunity with the Suns so I can't imagine he wants to forego money again to stick around for vet min +10% or whatever

Pretty sure Cam could do more with the ball and he's bigger. The knock on Cam was draft age and injury concerns.

I think Cam Johnson dropped due to injury concern, whereas Brea was a second rounder due to lack of potential outside of being a deadly shooter. On paper he looks more like Damion Lee than Cam Johnson to me.

Only a good shooter from what I'm hearing. No defense. Without any research, my guess is more like Jimmer Fredette

Adding all of these cost controlled contracts obviously became imminently critical due to this! But cap reduction will need to be even more from trading Allen, O'neale, Martin and Richards too,

So we can absorb Booker's new deal with 8% escalators.

Oh, for sure. I just have zero interest in Smith coming back. And any thought to stretching Beal deserves a hard slap across the face.

I don't think Tyus will re-sign, but if the Suns can move Beal he'd actually be a much better fit than last year.

Tyus would actually be in a position to create rather than his role last year, which was dribble the ball up court and hand it over to one of our' big' 3.

Tyus / Gillespie
Booker / Green
Brooks / O'Neal
Dunn / Fleming / Oso
Williams / Maluach / Richards

* assuming both Beal and Allen are no longer with the team next year. Ofcourse, whoever we'd get in return might still be included in our rotation.

That's plenty of size and hopefully good defense to make up for Tyus deficiencies.

Second apron rules have made it a lot more difficult for players like Tyus to get quality deals, he might consider taking a pay again cut this year for a starting spot guarantee and a wing-wing deal with Isbiah to get a payday next season.

Nah

Suns should wait. But they wont.

Booker can get injured, why extend if the current contract is long enough to cover the next 3 years
