There you go. Its official. Gratz to the Lakers. Absolutely the best team in these playoffs. Some things will change for them in the Finals but these guys seem like they are very good at handling any type of scenario. Gratz to Kobe. Some may not like the man but I know if he plays your team...there is a fear that run through you when he puts up a shot. He is the best wing player since Jordan. IMO he is sitting right next to Jordan. I will never say he is better than the man but he is equal right now IMO.

Lets see if the Lakers can close the deal.

Splitter is a pussy, we don't need him..

the nucleus is intact..Pop is still around..next year there won't be Horry, Finley, Vaughn or Stoudamire..Thomas might not be around..Mahinmi will hopefully get some burn..it's gonna be Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, Barry, Bowen, Oberto with some younger, more athletic players around them..it's also an odd year..Lakers will obviously be the favorites though with Bynum, but nobody knows how he's going to respond to another injury..

Kobe has to win that ring though..nobody remembers if you lead a team to the finals and lose..everybody forgot Lebron did it last year, and they even forgot that Wade actually led a team to a title 2 years ago..

They're surging, and Bynum's not even playing. That's really scary.

Congrats to Lakers, winning in five against this team is no easy task.

Spurs, well, I expected more from them. Its weired how the series played out. Too bad they couldn't repeat.

But man, no more TNT. They are done for the year. :(

Yea bro. Its very easy to put together a championship roster when you have your nucleus intact. The Spurs will get younger. And they'll be back. This year its been the Lakers. From when that trade was made...up until now. Its been there conference to lose.

This series was much like the Spurs v Suns match!

Game 1 took the Suns completely out of it!

Much like Game 1 of that series, I think the Spurs lost it because they had a heart breaking loss in game 1.

Much respect to the Spurs though, see ya next year in the playoffs.

Lakers Need to Get the Championship!

'Gratz to the Lakers and their fans, but still one more series to go before the real celebration starts.

But, I never though I'd see the day Kobe LEADS his team to the Finals, but he has. -- Simply Awesome!

you really couldn't see Kobe getting to the finals as the best player on his team?

we have a historic moment of a possible boston vs lakers matchup and ABC is going to ruin the event with country music, screamin A, and soap opera actors.

The only positive is that bill walton will probably be there.

Let's see if Kobe can pull of a Dwyane Wade performance against one of these two top defensive teams. He probably will need it since both of these teams are equal or better than the Spurs on defense.

At one time I did, but the way the off-season started, I quickly changed my mind and especially how wild the West is; anything can happen!

But, with the moves they made, and as the season went on and they got better and better, it all worked out for them.

What would have happened if the Suns were in full force?
