Gordon vs. Parker, as well as all the other top talent that both teams have...man, that will be a great one to watch. Circle your calendars :)

Hood vs. Hollis-Jefferson.

Parker vs. Gordon.

I'm going with AU by 10. Mark it down. I think the experience and strength of Johnson @ PG for AU will match favorably against Cook. Though, obviously, if Duke gets hot from 3 anything is possible. I just don't think Duke has the size or depth to stay w/ AU for the full 40.

But, yes, this is definitely one to mark on the calendar!

TJ McConnell? I didn't see tonight's game, did Johnson play PG?

I really see the two as interchangeable considering how much they run n' gun. McConnell played tonite and, again, I came away impressed with Johnson's game. McConnell threw some nice oops though and hit an open deep three ensuring two possessions before the end of the half.

Actually I like this better. No one has ever done for a full season what Wolters is doing right now. More than 5 assists with less than 1.2 TOs per game.

I really need to learn to not post on the same day as my sadomasochistic orgies. It never ends well.

Exum's pretty much your prototype teenage potential superstar guard/wing. Other than Durant not many have their shot down at that age possibly because no junior player can make them settle for a jumper. He's got the insane quickness, the length and attacking dribble moves (see Sessions rather than Jennings for dribble moves that actually take a player towards the bucket.) Maybe he'll never get the jumper which would make him a quicker Tyreke without the attitude I guess. I see him as a SG not that the title matters that much.

The attitude thing is really just a guess.

I know I'm a little late on this, don't have cable, but I'm just finishing watching the OK State-Memphis game from last night and holy cow is Marcus Smart good. He can do everything. If he keeps this up he could be the number 1 pick in the draft.

To be fair, smart was shooting like 30% from 3 before he went bonkers in the first half. No doubt his jumper is improved, but let's not go crazy over 1 game. He's definitely top 8 though.

Yeah, queue fans and pundits overreacting and putting him in the top 3 over one game. Sure, he's a great prospect, and probably would have gone #2 last June had he declared, but Wiggins, Randle, and Parker are the elite tier. It would be such a Bucks move to get the 3rd pick, then proceed to pass on Randle and Exum for Smart because of the "look what he did against college comp.!!" mentality.

Would still be the best chance at a star we've had in a decade.

Don't get me wrong, if we're sitting at 5th and Smart, Embiid, Gordon, and Harris are all on the board, the only guy I even give consideration to other than Smart is Embiid. I just don't think he's worthy of being put in the same class as Wiggins, Randle, Parker, and Exum. Nor do I think he ever will be.

Smart is the player I would like most for the Bucks to acquire. The near term future of the front court looks pretty good. But the backcourt is filled with mediocrities. Smart would help more than any other player in college at this time.

Most talented player would help the most. No offense, but it BPA without question.

And if it just happens to be a backcourt player then so be it.

True. It is seasonal WS. I only glanced at the stats and thought you were using George's stats from last season.

So, Ayt, given if you extend the WS stats over a full season and you surpass everyone on this list...what is it that you see to think he isn't playing at an MVP level? It's baffling to me, frankly. Have you actually watched him play?

The NBA is kind of a wasteland when it comes to elite players after LeBron and Durant. I suppose you could argue that George is an MVP level player, though I can't think of any good reason why anyone would give him a 1st place vote over LeBron or Durant.

The drop off from the top few guys is huge. Putting Paul George up as an MVP caliber guy against LeBron or Durant is **** crazy.

Personally, I'd probably put CP3 ahead of Durant to be honest.

Exum doesn't belong with those top 3. And watch the OK St./Memphis game and tell me Smart isn't at least side by side with Exum.

Completely forgot about Bargnani in our discussion last night. He was never the hyped prospect that Darko, Rubio and Yi were, but going #1 overall does add him to the list.
