He's been great. He's been the 2nd best player in college basketball behind Denzel Valentine.

3rd best player. Simmons has been the best player. But ya he has been great, his 3 point shooting is still a question and hes struggling from there so far this year

Simmons is the best pro prospect, he hasn't quite been the best college player.

Dunn intrigues the hell out of me. He seems like someone who would be really fun to watch every night.

How high can his ceiling be in the NBA???

It's difficult for me to get a handle on how good he will be in the pros. I like his quickness. I like his defense. I like his penetration. I don't like that he's not that good from the free throw line or a dependable outside shooter yet. He turns the ball over a lot. It's tough. I'm not sure I see him as having the ability to be a top 7 PG in the NBA. I do like him but I don't love him. There's still a lot of time to see him play but I can't get a good read on him.

I was looking at their boxscore last night as the game was going on and Towns had 18 minutes late in the game. I don't know if something is going on with him, but wondered if they had started to tank as well.

They are a young team is all. Rubio also has returned to earth from his "hot" start. Outside of Wiggins/Towns and depending on the day Lavine and Shabazz.. they don't have much else. KG/Miller/Prince are washed. Kevin Martin is on the downside. Payne is secretly really bad. Dieng is an overrated defender. and yeaaaaah. Mitchell is also not the best coach.

Perfect Storm for them to luck into Simmons and for me to die from too much sodium in my blood.

Amazing how bad the Twolves missed when they took Rubio and Flynn over Curry.

Curry is the one guy I didn't completely miss on (didn't think MVP). I thought he would be really good.

but then I **** up by also being high on Flynn too

Kris Dunn worries me. basically because dudes who are 3 years older than most of the rest of their draft class concern me.

I at time I thought Rubio was good pick but it was obvious from get go Flynn was going to be terrible pick, thought should of went with DeRozan to have your future backcourt. Then of course next year TWolves make mistake taking Wes Johnson over Cousins, another obv but hilarious bad move from Kahn

I think TWolves going to select in 5-10 spot and going to draft big man to pair up with Towns for the future. #1 Bender if he slips because of his contract and too much talent to pass up and Wolves can afford to wait because already have bunch of young talent on roster. #2 Poetl because of his 2way potential at C. #3 Rabb, I can see Rabb rising up to top 10, hes Bosh 2.0

Wade/Duncan also came out late.
Nothing to worry about with those guys.

Brandon Ingram having an awesome game tonight. Poor competition, but whatever. Just took off from the paint on the baseline and landed a 2-handed dunk on a dude trying to take a charge. His length and reach is insane.

At least he's been elite for two years now. That should ease some concern.

Ive been calling him Otto Porter ALOT, but tonight I've been impressed.

certainly intriguing prospect if we end up with 2-3.

I'm real skeptical about getting back on the excitement train. I hope he continues this streak of high level play, going forward.

Ingram has a lot of tools going for him. Long as hell. Solid dribble. Can shoot some. Athletic enough. So the idea is that even if he doesn't reach the crazy hype some has for him (Next KD ****), he will be worth having on your team....especially if he can play the 2. That would be insane

Ingram is just so functionally weak right now. And that shows in his finishing rate at the basket (a measly 58%). He's obviously skilled as hell and shows flashes of being a 2-way player. He just won't be an impact player until years 2 or 3.

That's 3 straight games (all bad competition ) that Ingram has looked really good on both sides of the ball. His shot is starting to fall and he can be pretty creative to get open shots. His weight and strength is a big concern but he is starting to look pretty impressive.

Best case for Phila is clearly get number 2, while another team jumps to one and grabs Simmons, draft Ingram, get the Lakers pick at 4th, draft Brown or Dunn, then add a couple of shooters with the other two, hopefully you could get Wade Baldwin with Miami's pick, he is tailor made for the 76ers, think about Avery Bradley but with more PG abilities.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
