If Curry and KD cant win cause they cancel each other out in votes, Harden shouldnt win either.

Both Curry and KD are MVPs already and are in their prime. Paul has never been MVP and is way out of his prime. Not the same situation./

Celtics lost their second best player to injury in the first minute of the first game of the season.

The narrative is that Kyrie can carry the celtics to the top despite all odds. If he keps playing well the voters are going to have show him love.

Kyire only 'carried' his team the last two games. Before that, his teammates were carrying Kyrie to the victory, including that game against GSW. Also, Boston is winning games on defense, not offense. I'm sure Kyire is the main defensive anchor of Boston, right?

still have more than twice the number of wins the Mavs do

Yeah but if your talking Stats, its a lot easier to put up a crazy stat line on a team that doesn't defend. Phoenex literally doesn't defend, at all.

As if the Mavs are any better at defending lol. They are 27th in Drating a whopping 1.1 above Phoenix.

The "LeBron made Kyrie relevant" narrative is dead for good. Kyrie is more relevant than ever without LeBron. What a way to prove the doubters wrong. And this Celtics team will only get better. Great times ahead for Kyrie.

Curry's a beast. Still the best PG in the league and I just can't hate on him, he seems like the coolest dude in the room. Westbrook is not even close to Curry people need to wake up. Kyrie so far is the 2nd best PG in the league.
Good assessment:

Kyrie outscored GS BY HIMSELF 11 to 10 in the closing minutes of the game, w/ an assist on 2 of the other 4 pt’s scored in that span.

King Kyrie's per game stats during the winning streak (excluding the Charlotte game):

15 games - 24.5 points (60% TS) - 3.1 rebounds - 51 assists - 1.5 steals - 0.5 blocks - 2 turnovers - 120 offensive rating - 98 defensive rating

Al Horford's per game stats during the winning streak

14 games - 14.6 points (67% TS) - 9.1 rebounds - 4.6 assists - 0.6 steals - 0.5 blocks - 2.9 turnovers - 116 offensive rating - 98 defensive rating

Haters will say that Kyrie was carried by his teammates to victory. Image

Haters will say it's all a "narrative". Image

Masked Man with yet another MVP display. 30 points (77% TS), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover in 25 minutes.

King Kyrie became the first Celtics player to score 30 or more points in less than 25 minutes in this millennium.

King Kyrie is in the middle of an incredible stretch of shooting. He has made 64.8% of his shots over his last four games while taking 17.8 a night.

King Kyrie has 30 points for 3rd time in last 4 games.

All done while rocking the "Fear" Kyrie Irving 3 PE for the first time. Image

I think Kyrie is establishing himself as a real top 10 player this year. I can't go top 5 yet. I'm also not sure how much of the Celtics record you can really attribute to Kyrie as opposed to the play of Tatum & Brown along with the system of Stevens. The Celtics just drafted really well the last two years and its paying big dividends right now.

Agreed. I just find it so funny how people on here were saying how poor Ainge is as a drafter but yet Brown and Tatum look like great picks so far

I think that was mostly overreactive Celtics fans or fans who resent all the draft picks Ainge was able to stockpile.

What in the world? Kyrie has been unreal in the clutch so far this season but how the hell is he better than LeBron or Giannis. Not even close.

Ask Stephen A Smith. He said he was the MVP right now.
