Integrating a high usg offensive player who is a traffic cone on defense. Sound familiar?

Memphis insider said the same thing. They prefer rozier to herro.

There is no way memphis does not want the second coming of Steph Curry. They cant even stomach basically 1.5 years of this all worldly talented Tyler Herro?

Here is my offer.. Herro, Simone take your pick of any 2 of JJJ, Ware, Davion, first round pick.

I want Ja and Ty Jerome back

If they insist they dont want our trash, then we remove Herro off the deal, put in Rozier or wiggins in his place..

I think we could find a third team to take on Herro.. if not, see what the Lakers are willing to give up for Herro.. they need a guy that can come off the bench and score..

They prefer rozier because if they start selling off of guys like ja or jjj, it's to create capsoace to absorb bad deals for picks.

Just browsing Bucks threads and subreddits, and they basically hate any Heat package lol even with Bam. They don’t want anything to do with Miami.

They clearly prefer the Hawks’ Jalen Johnson and a NOLA pick.

He’s better off staying in Milwaukee at that point.

Roto blurb: Tyler Herro (rib) is unlikely to join the Heat during the team’s five-game road trip.

Herro did not travel west with the team ahead of Monday’s game against the Warriors, instead staying in Miami to undergo an MRI on his ribs. The scans have uncovered a costochondral issue, which is inflammation or separation that can take weeks or even months to recover from. The Heat did not provide a timeline for Herro’s return, but he should be considered out indefinitely until that changes.

I never missed work because of broken ribs. I actually hurt my ribs on the way to work once when my bicycle snagged on a sidewalk railing and I wiped out. It was an electric bicycle. My ribs were hurting for probably a week or more. Or however long it takes for broken ribs to heal. I was working at warehouse and I didn't miss any days. I actually just hurt my ribs again on my bicycle. It wasn't as bad this time. It just hurts when I cough. I also hurt a hand this time. I can barely hold and lift things with it. I hope my hand injury isn't permanent. Unfortunately I don't have a job to miss right now.☹️

Is it possible Herro has Brittle Bone Disease and nobody knows it?

I was going to criticize the Heat's defense, but is defense even a thing anymore in the NBA with everybody scoring 110+ PPG? Why even bother with defense? Teams wouldn't score much more without it than they're scoring with it anyway. Probably 30 or 40 points more with an occasional 200 point game. Most sports fans aren't intelligent enough to be entertained by defense anyway. So you might-as-well not bother with it anymore.

If Riley wasn't still alive, I'd say he'd be rolling over in his grave right now. I miss the days of the 93-87 Heat/Knicks games. I'm sure he does too. He must feel like the people who moved into his old house are destroying it.

Is there any chance the league ever gets sick of the way it is now and puts defense back in the game? Only if ratings get bad? Or maybe the future league runners will have a different basketball philosophy regardless of ratings?

The problem that I don't know if the NBA has the balls to tackle is that the modern player is simply too good at the 3-point shot.

My favorite solution, that I can't see the NBA doing because of how much it radically changes scores and scoring records, is to make regular 2 point shots worth 3, and 3's worth 4. This dilutes the strength of the 3 (now 4), making the tradeoff fall in favor of the 2 (now 3) again, and the 3 (now 4) goes back to the pressure release valve and big score option it was originally intended to be, instead of the primary source of offense. Of course, this would technically make the boxscores higher, but the game itself would resemble more of what we saw in past eras.

I agree with Antoine Walker. As far as solutions go, I think moving the 3 point line back 3 feet and having that new arc get rid of corner 3’s would be amazing.

But I am down to see any solution as long as it gets people taking less 3’s. The game is just so boring seeing these 3’s get lobbed up. It’s like watching a football game where teams just kick fgs all day.
Another couple of suggestions I heard were have dunks count as 3 points and also when someone is fouled inside the paint, give 3 attempts. Just do something to end this boring basketball.

May as well just do away with the 3pts altogether and enforce strict man to man defense.

The irony of this happening to Butler against Miami is super sick.

So: Herro, Rozier, Jaku, and a 1st for Steph?

I'm usually very adamant about not trading for old guys, but Steph would get this team to the finals.

But I think Steph wants to stay with just one team until he retires.
