he was the best in-house prospect we had. played just north of the city. has been our point internationally for a while, somehow he and myck always seemed on different teams. or maybe im just forgetting them playing together. his high school games against wiggins were the closest ive ever experienced to "hyped" high school games in the area.

I won't be surprise if Pangos has a better season than Kabongo

This is starting to remind me of the Donyell game:

33 pts on 16 shots for Pangos. That's a nice efficient night.

If you're going to make a debut on the national stage, I cannot think of a better possible way to do it.

In his second game ever and first start, Pangos ties Dan Dickau's Gonzaga record with 9 threes, going 9/13 and ending with 33 points and 6 assists. I'm a diehard Zags fan and haven't missed a game in years and Pangos is rindonkulous.

Pangos is beast, only reason he didn't get big love is because he played High school ball in Canada. ESPN debut and he goes off like a mofo

This kid is nice!!!!!! Always been a gonzaga fan since Dickau. Kevin Pangos is a baller fa real. Hes the real deal in my eyes. The only thing that worried me would be his defence, which I thought would limit his time on the floor. But when your a shooter, you gotta be on the court. In a couple of yrs when hes bigger, hes gonna be a real problem. Did Kelly Olynck redshirt this yr due to injuries??

No, Olynyk is healthy, he's just taking the year to make the complete transition from sf to center. He would have been the fourth big this year, next year he will start. Back to Pangos, his defense is better than advertised, he didn't get beat by his man once last night against a very athletic Washington State team.

Myck 14-19 from the FT line. Shot was not dropping for him though, just 3-10 from the field.

People who have been following him on here for a while have said he struggles at finishing near the basket. I did notice that a few times yesterday.

The NCAA denied an eligibility waiver on 7-5 freshman center Sim Bhullar. The school appealed the decision and it was denied. As a non-qualifier, this means that Bhullar will not be able to play until next year. From what I've read and talking to his sister when he came here, that was the plan anyway, but if NMSU was able to get him cleared, it would have been a bonus.
