The biggest offense in this is Monta's taste in women. You're a young multimillionaire. You should be banging supermodels left and right. What are you doing sending an image of your penis to THIS?

Women nowadays are well protected by law as precious as Barbie dolls. Nothing new; But Ellis as a married man getting involved with such conduct is embarrassing both as a team captain and a husband. This is reality show; Welcome to the NBA.

Yeah, that's why 1 in 4 women will likely be raped or sexually assaulted in their lifetime and the HIGHEST estimate of sexually reported crimes is 37%, when when womens rights group suspect it is in actuality 16%. We're very protected.

It doesn't matter how she looks. Sexual harassment is not about sexuality, it is about power. Just because it is in text and pictures of his "Mississippi Missile" (as someone so cleverly coined earlier) does not mean it is any less a form of harassment. If she did not ask to see pictures of his dick, then she did not deserve nor did he have any right to send her pictures of his dick. If she did not ask or they were no longer in an intimate relationship, he did not have any right to send her sexually suggestive/aggressive texts.

If you want to know to know why some women wait a long period of time or a LARGE NUMBER of women never report being sexually assaulted all you have to do is look at some comments in this thread or past ones regarding the matter of sexual assault/harassment and/or rape.

It is humiliating and degrading to be assaulted, to have ownership of your body taken away from you. It is crushing to know if you report the crime there is a high chance that the people you report it to will not take you seriously, think you asked for it by the way you dressed, think it couldn't happen to you because you aren't attractive enough according to the image media pushes onto us. To be told you're a gold digger, you're passive aggressive, or a bitch who is mad the guy dumped you.

No one deserves to be sexually harassed, assaulted, or raped. Women or men. No one deserves to have that happen to them and then be too ashamed to report their crime because we live in a society that embraces and encourages a rape culture that questions/mocks/demonizes the victims.

Case in point, Syracuse and Penn State child molestation/rape scandals.

Creative and funny but a few years too late. Monta led all SGs in assists last year, and was top 5 in assists for non PGs behind only Lebron and Iggy if I'm not mistaken. Clever though

Oh I beg to differ....now if you're famous that's a different story

Now I'm not saying you should start sending it randomly to any woman you know, but I've done it on about 4 occasions only after establishing that the girl I was conversing with was potential interested and it's worked...almost like the 'naked man' in 'How I Met Your Mother'...once they've seen it, it makes it easier to introduce them to each other in person, plus if you work the angles right you can really make yourself look a lot more impressive :D ......now to the kids out there reading this, I don't suggest you do this, uncle BJ43 is a bad person....

The pussification of this society starts with texting. The idea that you have to circle jerk going back and forth on your phone is your way to meet up with a chick reflects poorly on you and the chick. The fact that you resort to that, means that you don't have the confidence to put yourself out there with a chick in front of you.

You couldn't be more wrong
:)
I have no problem with confidence regarding hitting on a chick in person, but this method can be applied to the potential time wasters that I don't want a relationship with, that talked like they were interested in only one thing....before I waste my time driving out to them, or taking them to dinner to pretend like I want to get to know them, it helps to weed out the ones with 0 morals, which a few years back was my target market as I wasn't looking for a relationship or anything close to it

It does reflect poorly on me and the girl however, but not for the reasons you assumed
;)

You know some years ago there was someone trying to sound smart saying that it was unmanly to call a woman on the phone when you can go to her house and court her proper. The world evolves and so does everything else.

Anyone ever hear of cellphone blocking? Or how about changing your phone number if you're getting crank calls that you don't want. Kind if reminds of the guy trying to bust a move she saying "don't stop". Does it mean she wants him to stop or not to stop? Sometimes it's difficult to know what they really mean. About 61 texts supposedly recorded by her. Sometimes you get mixed messages.

I agree with what you are saying, but I'm not so sure its so much a rape culture, but a culture that emphasizes individual pleasure no matter the consequences. The questioning, mocking, demonizing of rape victims is only among a small vocal minority (i.e. nba / warriors / real gm fans), in the court of public opinion, Monta Ellis would probably be found guilty as all hell (of course in the courts that matter, he'll just throw some cash around and end up with a slap on the wrist)

Honestly, if we look at our society and those who are getting caught doing this ish, we are talking about rich players, educated professionals, trained coaches and teachers, and so forth who literally have no moral qualms over violating others because it brings them pleasure to do so. I'm not saying all women are innocent either, there are quite a few who find it just as enjoyable to screw around without thinking of the consequences as well.

Sure, there is no discussion about rape ofr sexual assult being unacceptable or even having dick pictures sent to your mobile; but being sued for trying to flirt is only possible in US....
