- I was just playing about the OKC shooting, it was an add-on to my previous criticisms of Oklahoma:lol:..I'll still never step foot there..there's nothing interesting to see, and I'm not a meth addict, therefore, I have no reason to ever check it out, tbh..

- Durant clearly isn't a face of the NBA, at the moment..he's a top 2 player in the NBA, but he currently doesn't have any appeal outside of legit NBA fans..

- Derrick Rose shouldn't be mentioned anywhere near this thread..not only is his career as a superstar probably over, but he can barely speak English..he has no charisma, he cheated on his SATs, and seemingly has the intelligence of a dog, tbh..maybe an intelligent dog, such as a Border Collie, but still a dog..

Lebron - arrogant "chosen one"..flashy, pompous..

Kobe - extremely arrogant, selfish, genuine "bad guy", bad teammate..

Jordan - "bad guy", bad teammate, carried the league

Bird - White guy..

Magic - Won rings in LA in the NBA's prime, arguably the most entertaining player of all-time..

Clean, "nice guys" like Durant, generally don't become the face of the NBA, unless they play in a large market, or unless they're historically entertaining(Vince Carter, as an example)..

You're right. Durant's personality is too boring to be the face of the NBA ala Tim Duncan.

Durant has fake humility IMO..

Last year, when the Lebron hatred was peaking, Durant tried way too hard to show off his humility, tbh..

I recall somebody asking him if he considers himself to be an elite player, and he responded by saying "I don't think I'm a top 15 or top 20 player in the NBA"..it's one thing to be humble, and it's another thing to try way too hard, tbh..
