Don't think I'd match that. Also think Iggy will take slightly less to play with us than to take that and play for Sac.

I agree. I like him, but it's best to move on for that price.

So we essentially offered the same contract + a 5th year at $7 million. If long-term security is really as important as he's been saying, then that extra year will make all the difference and he'll take our offer. When you factor in the winning situation here and how well he fits, it's really not even close IMO. Our offer is much better.

After 4 years, does Iguadala think that he could get a deal for $7 million or more? I would question that due to his reliance on physical ability. I would also think the Denver situation is far more appealing to him.

Tyreke was at his best with the ball in his hands. At 23 we could definitely develop him into that punch of the bench 6th man if he is down with it. Then Fournier or Hamilton would have to transition to the starting line-up.

I'd rather the club's money go towards the younger prospect.

Kings pulled their deal for Iggy. Hopefully this means hes back to us for not too much.

Strange move to pull the offer so quickly, especially coming from D'Alessandro. I don't think I've ever heard of that happening before.

So New Orleans and Detroit seem to be the two biggest threats left to sign Iguodala. I guess Dallas could still make a push and so could Houston if they miss out on Dwight, but I haven't heard anything about either of them showing interest.

I've been wondering what was going to happen with Stone. It seemed like Karl was the only reason we kept him around. I guess Ujiri liked him too.

We're not going to miss him, but I'm happy he's getting an opportunity somewhere else.

Hell I would like the Nuggets to find a way to get several guys on the warriors, but they really do not have cap space to do much.

news reports suggest they are in fact after Iggy as a second choice. They are trying to dump contracts and I don't see it happening without actually giving up some compensation along with it. The Nuggets need to talk S&T... let them keep Bogut.... and we need to demand Barnes in return. That would be a huge deal.

The thing is it looks like the warriors are going to get their cap space, giving them the room to get Howard, if they miss out on Howard then they would have the room to get Iggy without giving up anything else.

I personally would not hesitate to do beidrens and Barnes for Iggy, hell I would even do Beidrens and thompson for Iggy if the Nuggets got the chance.

Of course if the Warriors do get Howard, I would still do a sign and trade of Iggy to them for Lee and Barnes or something if they really still wanted him.
