hard to blame them for going with the flashy name but I think Kendall Marshall would have been a better fit

Al (32mpg) / Hawes (16)
Zeller (24) / Frank (14) / Marv (10)
MKG (32) / Batum (16)
Batum (16) / Lamb (16) / Daniels / (10) / Lin (6)
Kemba (32) / Lin (16)
And then Clifford will cut at least one player out of that rotation.
Drop Al to 28 and give the other four to Frank or Cody as a small ball center. Also Daniels will likely get the 6 and Lin the 10 as a secondary ball handler.

Lin is better, and his contract is insanely awesome.

Now cut Hairston, sign Harrison. Be nice to actually have a project guard that can do something other than gain weight

Trade Marv, Hawes, and 7 1st round picks (2016, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28) to Philly for Noel and we will be set!
Funny, if we took Noel instead of Zeller a few years ago, this roster would be nasty.
I like Zeller, but we need a rim protector bad.

If it was me, I'd be giving Al 20 minutes and Hawes about 10, giving Zeller 18 minutes at center and another 12-16 at power forward, while making MKG and Frank divide the remaining minutes at power forward, meaning Batum gets more SF minutes, opening up SG minutes for Lamb, Troy, and Lin. Basically, small-ball.

Forget Harrison, bring on CDR.
But yeah I'm so excited about this deal. Love the guy and can't wait to see him on the floor.

Has he ever scooped anything for this team? And if so, when was the last time?

We still have the full MLE. How many roster spots do we have left? I love Harrison as a project that can maybe go to the D league or something, and sign a legit solid backup 3 with our MLE.

He doesn't do anything but confirm stuff. I can do that. I look on a players facebook and instagram and I can confirm that the damn guy has signed with a team.

The Sixers wouldn't take a trade of Zeller and Hairston combined for Noel.

Re: Welcome to Charlotte Jeremy Lin
Any chance that tweet from Woj was meant as 2 years at 4 mil (per season), instead of 4 mil total? 2 mil just seems like Linsanity.

Re: Welcome to Charlotte Jeremy Lin
Lakers fans I've talked to are either laughing at us for signing him or telling me what a steal Lin is.
Considering his known inconsistency, this is about what I would expect. I fear for our bench's defense (Lin+Kaminsky defending pick and rolls sounds a lot like hell) but for the money we'll be paying him it's a great deal IMO.

I won't even go there. This is the happy moment and I have pooped on the dome sufficiently. Lin is a perfect fit. He's the guy we needed.

I remember going to a game vs the Rockets when they had Yao Ming (the game where he put us away with a 3pter). I didn't know Charlotte had as many asians as I saw at that game it was nuts. Maybe every game will be like that now

One of my Lakers friends is blasting me on facebook, but hes like most of the other Laker fans.. If they are with you they're great. If they aren't "oh God thank the Lord hes finally gone he sucks anyway"
Nonsense, I don't listen to them.
