KD will disappear on the 4th so it'll be announced on the 5th.

I dont think so but this would almost make sense, spurs would be title favorites with him and he'd probably be less hated than if he's with the warriors.

He's staying in OKC. He wouldn't do that to Russ.

LeBron wouldn't do that to Cleveland either until he did.

This situation really is very similar I think. I think Durant really wants to stay in OKC but also really wants rings just as Lebron really wanted to stay in Cleveland but also really wanted rings. Only Durant is on a much better team than Lebron was when he left. Man this a tough decision for Durant between OKC and GSW.

If it was that easy, he probably would've made the decision already.

The longer this goes, the more it probably means that he's conflicted about choosing the Warriors over the Thunder.

On another note...if he didn't like the media before, he'd hate them if he joined GSW. He'd get the full Year 1 Heatles treatment all of next year if not longer.

You know how politicians do news dumps sometimes on a Friday night to lessen the attention on something that would otherwise be seen as disadvantageous to them if announced during a time in the news cycle where more attention is paid? Well it's not like Durant can just slide this by people unnoticed, but announcing on the 4th makes me think he's leaving even more. If you make the unpopular move, it makes more sense to do it when attention is focused more elsewhere. Of course in a 21st century media landscape the news cycle is pretty much always on, but there is still something to be gained from making the unpopular announcement tomorrow if you're going to do it

He's had 6 long meetings over the course of 2 days not including telephone conversations with Jerry West and another meeting with OKC.

Maybe he's just tired and wants to clear his mind before making a decision. :dontknow:

He's not like your boy Lebron, he isn't planning a television special to announce his decision.

He met with some teams today, it is wise to sleep on it, before making a choice that could cause a big change in his life.

Maybe Durant giving the Thunder one last day to try to somehow upgrade their roster?

what other moves, teams are down to signing bottom of the barrel guys to massive amounts of money. Who's left of significance besides Durant?
