Lakers will just wait until next year, no need to trade their best player.

Watch the link, there's more going on.

I watched the link, and the tag line says "Rob Pelinka recruiting LeBron's camp to Lakers?"

So basically, the opposite of LeBron's camp reaching out to Lakers, as you decided to title this thread.

Every team in the league would be interested in signing LeBron next year. Not quite the same as LeBron wants to sign with every team, is it?

Yep. More clickbait. It's already getting annoying and the season is still months away.

A choking, flopping, cheating, arrogant douchebag like him doesn't deserve to be a Laker

You're okay with a cheating, arrogant douchebag like Kobe but those other traits break the camel's back?

I'm a Laker fan but this response is the best. Hahaha sooo good.

Lebron would never pass Magic/Capt/or Shaq here either.

And this is exactly why LeBron wouldn't go to LA.

The one thing we know for sure about LeBron is that he makes these types of decisions bearing his legacy in mind - why would he want to go to a franchise that wouldn't even have him as a top 3 player all time?

Just going there would spur the "where does LeBron rank among Lakers".

The reality is that he's already passed anyone who has ever dawned a Laker jersey save for maybe KAJ.

meh different strokes for different folks, i don't think he's passed magic, but that's because magic is my goat.

That's different. He's from there and Cavs fans loved and adored him prior to that decision. Laker fans generally have never even liked Lebron let alone love him

Lol. The vast vast majority of Lakers fans are causal fans. They'll rally behind Lebron as if he was their own child

where does this bs that the majority of laker fans are casual fans come from? i've seen it posted here a few times and it just seems like some made up online stuff. most laker fans i know (including myself) are very passionate about our team.

Not sure Lebron wants the pressure of of having to live up to Magic, Kareem, Jerry West and Lonzo Ball etc..

The Lakers are sitting pretty for next year, I wouldn't do a dang thing except maximize player development with your future core pieces (Lonzo, Kuzma, Ingram, etc) at the expense of everything else.

that's a wojbomb if i've ever seen one.

Look, i'm not going to lie, i'd prefer Westbrook and George coming in over Lebron and George (not that Westbrook is better, just longer shelf life and Westbrook's agent isn't Rich Paul) but this would be great. However if Lebron did this, he'd screw up his legacy, again.

I'm not joking. Lebron on the lakers will be the best thing to ever happen to basketball popularity rise.

The nba would grow so much worldwide

I want to create some sig material for some lucky Lakers fan, here goes:

Lakers fans are delusional. The Lakers are NOT just going to sign LeBron, CP3 (or Westbrook), and Paul George in free agency!
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

He needs to go to Boston, though Thomas needs to go.

If LeBron joins the Lakers, then one of the banana boat guys will be left out of the pack. I'm assuming CP3 would have objections to coming off the bench for Lonzo, so he stays in Houston. It's almost guaranteed Wade will go wherever Bron is. Not so sure whether Melo will go with Houston or Lakers.

Hilarious. A team turning down the chance to have Lebron on their team...

He can go to your Raps. Enjoy.

Tell me about it.

How u can tell the difference between Kobe fans and Lakers fans

Yet us Laker fans who don't want Lebron are still here cheering the team after Kobes retirement. Some of us just dont' like Lebron James and it has nothing to do with Kobe believe it or not. You might as well accept it and hope he goes to your team instead.

I'm surprised other teams haven't talked to the Cavs about possibly trading for Lebron.

They said that a lot during all the championship runs, but during a 4-year lottery streak? I think by this point we're all diehards.

"Casual fans" are people like my sister who see me watching a Laker game and say "who are all these new players since Kobe and Shaq left?"
