So now he’s trying to create buzz around his FA all season even though he already said “only Lakers” a month ago? So a team gives up 4 FRPS and most of their young players for him, and he says something like this publically? He used to be such a humble and likeable guy, now he’s like the opposite. Wow I can’t stand him. Boogie too - just yuck.

Who would have thought the Lakers would manage to sign (or in this case trade for) a set of players who I dislike more for the players themselves than the fact that they play for the Lakers.

I really don't think Anthony DAvis is seeking attention, he's just very non-committal and takes the political answer on everything so he doesn't paint himself into a corner, but it's annoying as hell. Take a stance on something instead of dodging all questions and leaving it to your manager.

If AD leaves LeBron will forever be remembered as the guy who singlehandedly destroyed the Lakers for a decade.

Lol! The saeason hasn't started yet and Anthony Davis seem to already want to leave the Lakers.I'll be very shocked if Anthony Davis doesn't sign with a different team during the 2020 free agency.

Unless Lebron and AD become enemies this season, I don't see AD leaving next offseason. Dude has been living in LA in the offseasons since 2013. He loves the city and I don't see him doing his friend Lebron like that. Not to mention the contenders don't have cap space next offseason and there aren't many star free agents to pair up with. Plus his brand will take a major hit if he left.

I don't think I've ever been less worried about a player leaving in my life. I'd say the odds of Lebron leaving are higher.

He’d be seen similar to Kyrie in Boston and Butler on Minny and Philly. A guy who it was a mistake to trade for, but is a good enough player that most teams would take the risk and deal w/ consequences.

It would be embarrassing for them, but I don’t think the Lakers will be destroyed any worse than they have been in recent years. And I don’t really think AD would leave - but he’s a real diva for even hinting that he would at this point. He might be my most disliked, least favorite, player in the entire league right now.

Actually it's way more likely that Anthony Davis leaves than you think.Unless the Lakers make it to atleast too Conference Finals(which is not going to happen with the roster they have),Anthony Davis is going to leave the Lakers next year.Anthony Davis wanted to go to a Championship contending team.Do you really think that the Lakers are Championship contenders? I don't believe,so there's very high chance Anthony Davis leaves. Also, contenders can trade players to free up cap space if they know Anthony Davis is leaving the Lakers, and it wouldn't be hard to do.I think of the Heat,Bucks,Warriors or maybe even the 76ers far as teams Anthony Davis being intrested in and teams that could make room for Anthony Davis without having to do a sign and trade deal.

Bonus question, if the Lakers have a bad season (miss the playoffs or whatever you consider a bad season for them), do you think he stays?

The realgm clown just clocked it. Morning Tabloid Thomas.

It's weird how you post only about the Lakers.

He could have said "that's what I anticipate happening, but you can never be sure I'm going to play the season out and see what's up" but he didn't. He gave no indication at all he was even leaning there, which is crazy considering he asked to be traded there.

What a jerk. Why can't he be like Kyrie and promise he's coming back a year early?!

He'd never do it, but my god, if he walked over to Toronto and took Kawhi's place, they'd win another title right away.

If they lose I wouldn't be surprised if he jumps to the Heat. Clippers or Warriors. Lebrons getting older so there isn't much of a long term future for him.

Wants to see if he has to stand in the corner and be blamed for losses.

I wondered about this as well. Plus LeBron is getting older and has what? 1 year plus a player option after this season?

Does AD really want to commit to the Lakers long term and potentially end up being the only guy there in a few years?

New Orleans all over again.
