Interesting... Wonder who and what it was all about?

This team sounds disfunctional.

You know what i'm thinking. Shatkins traded Stroman to the Mets and not a contender just to piss him off. They probably didn't get along and wanted him out. Another problem is they got nothing near to what Stroman's value should be.

You know what I'll be cheering on the Mets this season and next year. Phuck Shatkins!

Actually, Stroman's apparently thrilled...he's from Long Island, so this is a homecoming:

Yeah it's pretty funny how most of the Mets fans from that link thought Marcus would prefer the Yankees.

I respect his competitiveness, but I won't miss the drama.

That being said, I'm sure he was pumped up at the prospect of a playoff run, so I can see going to the Mets as being a disappointment when there were Yankee rumours going around. What the heck are the Mets doing?

Dante Bichette's best season at the plate 40hr/128 rbi .340/.364/.620/.984. Walker/Galaragga/Bichette. Wasn't the greatest outfielder by any means, but was definately a threat offensively.

Bichette with his first career hit.

Somewhere on twitter, I caught a glimpse of Bo, Cavan, and Vlad, guffawing together pre-game. The start of something special.

I've a bad feeling that Jays will win just enough to fall to 8-9 position in the draft.

Biggio, Bichette, Guerrero. The trifecta of the 2nd generation is complete.

Think we're pretty locked in to the top five...we're still 4.5 up (down?) on Seattle, and our rotation is going to be otherworldly bad. Our starters beyond Stroman have been worth 1.7 fWAR to date.

It's a quartet if you include Gurriel, whose father is a Cuban legend. More bloodlines than a Kentucky stable.

Gurriel has made a Siakam-like leap this year. Dude looks like a stud.

Griffin Conine to take over for Grichuck eventually?
