I am just finally over the anger at myself for this move, still not sure if I #TrustedTheProcess and the process was good, I just got burned or it was extremely stupid.

I ran a guillotine league this year (do it, they are fun. Everyone loves it, even the people that got knocked out early). The premise is that the low score every week is knocked out and their players go on waivers. We did 16 teams with fairly large starting rosters. Last team standing wins.

So my team and another one were the teams that had waiver $ left the past 4-5 weeks and we both had been amassing juggernaut teams since everyone was out of cash. I ran Mahomes, Ekeler, Montgomery, DK, Adams, Waller, Keenan, Diggs, AJ Brown, Thielen, Kamara, etc. and had my hands on several stud/former stud RBs/QBs that I couldn't even keep on my roster anymore.

3 of us left last week - the 3rd place guy was the plucky underdog since our 2 teams had been amassing all of the superstars. He kept hanging around and my team took a nosedive and chose the wrong defense.

Long story short, I'm up by 7 points (0.5 point PPR) going into SNF. I have Diggs and he has Allen + Diontae Johnson. So I felt kinda ****.

My thought was, "****, I need to decouple myself from Josh Allen. If he has the bad game I want, that means Diggs will have a bad game and Diontae will just beat me. Allen always outscores Diggs by ~10 points every week, including the good Diggs games." So at 6:30 I went over and took Claypool and dropped Diggs to waivers.

Of course, for the first time all year, Diggs outscores Josh Allen...and not by a little, by enough for me to have won comfortably after Diontae was benched for half of the game.

Ouch! That sounds like a fun format though.

Logic in FF just means we outthink ourselves. I feel your pain.

I am in the final four. Only move I am questioning is starting Mahomes over Rodgers.

My only logic there is:

I drafted Mahomes 2nd round and he has performed at a level worthy of that pick. If I start Rodgers over my 2nd round pick and regret it...that would hurt. If I start Mahomes and Rodgers outperforms him....oh well. Plus that more than likely means a Packer win.

With Brees back do I start him in what should be a high scoring game or do I roll with Wilson against Washington?

Brees is not young and that is a severe injury. I’m skeptical he comes back and plays lights out. Never mind that Taysom is said to still be in the game plan.

Pick three of four
Miles Sanders vs AZ
Jon Taylor vs Hou
Mike Davis vs GB
James Robinson vs Balt

I was leaning not starting Robinson but just read he had 44yards and a TD called back on penalties and still put up 10 points.

Taylor looks awesome last two weeks and HOU is terrible against RB.

Davis VS GB seems like a very high floor with multiple TD opportunities

Sanders scares the crap at of me with his usage this season but he just put up big numbers against a NO team that hadn’t given up a big game to RB in like 50 games. Does this carry forward with Hurts?

I feel great about all these and Martin is razor thin playing against the first seed in round 1. Thoughts?

Davis is the easy choice.

Robinson is going to put up fantasy points every week based on volume alone

Sanders v Taylor gets tricky. Go with whoever you think will get a TD id say

Wilson or Tannehill?

The Seahawks looked bad when they traveled east against the Giants, and Washington's D is even better.

I could see Tannehill putting up a better day pretty easily i just dont think I could bench Wilson for him if only because the upside is higher with Wilson.

Probably a higher floor versus higher ceiling situation

I pretty much have the exact same situation, with Akers instead of Taylor. I do not feel comfortable with Sanders yet. Taylor looks like he's finally stopped only thinking about not fumbling. J-Rob, Davis, Taylor.

I'm leaning that way, with ANY kind of last minute injury, breaking news, bad weather, etc. will make me pivot last second. Sanders has burned me a lot this year and yeah, I think it makes sense to make him prove the volume a bit more.

Any thoughts on WR;
Corey Davis vs. Det (I am worried they will be up too much too soon to keep passing)
Godwin (I have him locked in to one of the two spots)
Locket (I can't trust this dude at all and wouldn't shock me if he went 3 for 48 or 13 for 480)
JuJu (also worried they may be up too big to pass, but he seems to be a fairly high floor low ceiling guy as of late)
Curtis Samuel (I know the pack don't give up a ton, but in two other leagues, they both have him starting against me, so it would be a nice hedge)

Or Brandin Cooks is a FA and I think that might be worth picking him up as a plug and play this week and who knows, maybe next week. Sad that I gave up on Justin Jefferson so early on this squad otherwise I would have a stacked team EVEN though I am getting little from my top 4 picks (Barkley, Godwin, JuJu, Sanders) but that's kind of just the way the year has been.

I have all those dudes in a similar tier... tough. I wouldn't get too cute, probably would just roll with Godwin/Davis/JuJu, in that order. With CMC out AGAIN (UGH!), I like the Samuel hedge/upside play, whereas JuJu gives you a nice floor as Ben's only reliable receiver lately.

Speaking of Jefferson, I'm really struggling to pick two out of Jefferson/Metcalf/Robinson this week. Probably should just follow my own advice and just go Jefferson/Metcalf.

Hey gang, looks like the same stalwarts again vying for the bragging rights, and $$ this season.

Slight conundrum. Playing Jonathan Taylor, and James Robinson at starting backs. CMC still rotting on the bench, and Antonio Robinson with sore slipper.

I have Diggs and Ridley and WR.

My flex is either Kareem Hunt or JuJu...

Must win.

I'm still struggling to decide between Cam Akers and Allen Robinson as my flex. I've settled on Ridley/Metcalf/Mike Davis/James Robinson as my starters. The Jets are sneaky good against the run, but Cam looks so fresh, and has 61 touches in the last 10 quarters. Tough to ever trust Trubisky, but A-Rob has been a target hog. Just had Diggs/Fant put up 37 against me this afternoon. :banghead:

Need help for final WR spot - PPR:

Shenault @ BAL
R Higgins @ NYG
E Sanders KC

Shenault has low production and has relied on scores but they will be throwing a lot vs BAL.

Higgins has back to back games with 6 catches and a score, just worry it will be a running game attack this week.

I just picked up Sanders off waivers, has played very well in games with Thomas out and Brees is back.

Right now leaning Sanders.

Geez, Panthers suck. I'm playing Mike Davis and my opponent is playing GB D/ST, did not anticipate this...

What’s the best option for Week 16 defense. I done goofed and didn’t plan ahead:

HOU (vs the Bengals)
CIN (vs the Texans)
KC (vs the Falcons)
IND (vs the Steelers)
NO (vs the Vikings)

Too early to say. Vikes lose today combined with some other results, and I think they are basically out of it mathematically. Need to factor in weather and domes too.
