You gotta love these number games. :) Great for Tatum and I think he should be on the list, but Doncic was a turned ankle or one ejection away of taking this.

31/9.8/8.7 in 35.8mpg (Tatum is at 10rbds in 40.6mpg, 0.2 more rbd in 5 minutes). I'm not hating on Tatum who's obviously a great player, plus his team also went further, but I always find these "first to get X/X/X" funny (including when it's Doncic).

Same for AD. He never got far in the playoffs.

I admit Luka may be a bad omission. He just didn't change any previous thoughts I had of him. He is a first team all nba player. Anything less he would have been in the loser catagory. There is a reason all the "losers" are really good players.

To me Dame ascended a level. Yes he has been a great player but he showed me a level of leadership and determination that raises him levels in my book. This is just my opinion. I kind of wanted people to have their own lists to compare.

Just to be clear, I agree that Luka's status didn't change much, it was only consolidated. I just don't think Dame's status changed much either. They were both considered around the 5-6th best player in the league and they still are. But I think some people were waiting for Doncic to "fail" against the Clippers. I'm a fan and even I thought it would finish either 4-0 or 4-1 (with KP being healthy), and Luka would have an average series considering the Clippers played him aggressively and made him the focal point of the defense. I thought it would only get worst in the playoffs. The fact that his averages and his shooting efficiency went up in his first playoff against a really good defensive team makes it a big positive to me. His advanced stats are pretty much the same even if he played 6 times against a "top 5" team and people are underrating how a good defense alter stats. Look at what happened to Jamal Murray's stats against the Jazz vs the Clippers. He went from averaging 31.6ppg on .682 TS% to 22.6 ppg on .559TS%. What would Doncic have done if he didn't get the Clippers in the first round?

Lillard didn't even play that well in the playoffs, averaging 24.3/4.3/3.5 and his shooting efficiency dropped slightly compared to the RS.

I appreciate Keldon Johnson being on the Honourable Mention list. I'd put both him and Derrick White on the Winners list. They had a great bubble. Can't wait for them to show more next season.

Tyler Herro got to be a major contributor on an NBA finals team at age 20, delivering big plays down the stretch to help the team progress. Easily one of the biggest winners - this sort of experience some players wait their whole careers for

It was real NBA, not summer league at all lmao.

All pro sports leagues are trying to make money. Get with the program.

If that was real nba, the nba is done. That was a joke and we ALL know it!

IMO it isn't a joke at all. I am enjoying it a lot more than the NBA of the 1990s/early 2000s.

I like the modern eramore than the 00's for sure, about as much as the 90's. But this bubble ball is awful.

Yeah...with half the players not fully in game shape, half the guys have REALLY difficulty with the mental aspect of the bubble. No fans, no home court....it's not nba basketball. It's just a mess and that's why we have the heat in the finals.

They are nba players and they're playing basketball so yes. But it is nothing like the quality product we should expect.

But with diminished quality. You came for fresh food with a plethora of options & you're going to have some McDonald's.
