The fact that this was Hutchison and not Valentine shows you just how much of a clown NBA GMs think he is.

Completely on board with this move, I’d rather take a chance on a struggling wing then throw chips in at a position that is easily replaceable. Doesn’t mean Troy Brown will suddenly figure out how to shoot, but I’d rather take the chance on such a low cost move. Tremendous deal IMO.

As a Michigan fan, I've followed Mo and have been disappointed in his limited NBA success. I think he has suffered by being a bit of a tweener, but his 3pt shot hasn't yet materialized. AK really does love his Euro's.

I'm thinking that Hutch had a deal with AK that he would be traded, and given his limited availability over the years, I'm glad we have freed up a roster spot. Gafford, IMO, wasn't cutting it in the C role that Billy likes to play...he is a rim running hustle guy, but can't really operate away from the basket - sorta reminds me of a C version of Dunn at PG.

@The_BBall_Index: Mo Wagner is on the move!

What can Bulls fans expect from the Stretch Big on offense and Anchor Big on defense? #BullsNation

Here are his report cards for a few key skills based on his role, from his https://t.co/3Xagb4fdXZ Player Profile: https://t.co/NP5bSfJGrM

I’m a fan of the trade for sure. Both upgrades for their respective positions. With the right development we could really have something with TBJ.

If other GMs consider Hutch more valuable than Denzel, and AK doesn’t, then good on AK.

Hutch is not even playing, if you were looking at our roster and told "you can have any one of these rookie contract guys" would you really take the guy who doesn't dress for games? I mean I guess he has another year on his contract but seriously?

How many times have we watched the NBA go bonkers with trades and the Bulls to be sitting on the sidelines watching? This feels good

I think he's saying that NBA GM's feel like Valentine is a clown because they would rather trade for Hutch instead.

Wagner has to have more offensive upside than Gafford because Daniel was basically a dunk shot artist. Otherwise he's backing up an all star.

Brown who knows, if he shows them something they pick up his option. The Wiz seem to have given up on him so he' better than Hutchison just sitting out.

Any ideas why he can't shoot? His stroke doesn't look all that bad, but his numbers definitely are.

I am inclined to think that Gafford is the best player in this deal, but it's all marginal. Just feels good to be active in the trade market. Maybe these guys we are getting will develop here better than they did there.

I'm not sure which player I like more. How exactly did the Bulls end up with the two best players in a 4 player deal? Is this reality?

no dude. in a 3 and D league, wagner is 10x more valuable on a contender. that being said, wagner is not good compared to AG.
IDK why washington keeps dumping good players. first it was otto. hope they keep swindling more.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

I don't know much about TBJ or Mo, but I would guess AK wanted them because they better fit his vision going forward. We badly need perimeter defense and interior toughness. I feel like we improved in both of those categories today, while not losing anything on offense.

Valentine is better than Hutchison. I consider it a win to have kept Valentine in this exchange of deep bench busts.

I think Denzel is on the table for a 2nd rd pick. Otherwise he's proven to actually be in the more competent line-ups earlier in the season before the ****-show of the past week. Last off-season, BoyGarPax probably would've valued Dunn and Shaq over him, but it's clear that competent pass/shoot skills even from an entirely broken-athlete can trump a "defensive diamond in the rough" with less offensive skills than Schaumburg's YMCA.
