Hopefully the quick start makes the Pelicans go small, sticking with Val might actually be better for them in the long run because keeping him off the glass will be hard with the small guys and he knows how to play inside.

and they DO go small

i wonder if the clips counter now by bringing hartenstein back in next dead ball to keep pace with their small ball lineups while providing us size

I know what I enjoy about this team. They don't whine constantly about officiating and we aren't subjected to a key player that is horrible at FT shooting.

Willie was a consummate professional and the ultimate "stay ready" guy as a Clipper. I'm not surprised that he's finding success in coaching.

That being said, it makes me feel old watching someone who played for the Lob City teams now working as a coach.
