Tylerslakers just traded Durant and Horford for basically draft capital and youth, he's maybe rebuilding.
Earl is not a rookie guy, he always traded his picks for vets.
Doctaj is the new guy, but he has a deep team and probably is in the same dilemma as you. Doesn't want to drop guys to make room for draftees.
KJG won't deal future picks if not for obscene offers.
coach-bdj is in a semi-rebuild himself, won't risk a potential lottery pick especially since he scored the #1 pick this year

Problem with having a deep ass roster, sometimes you have to drop guys as well.

If Charlotte waives him he's getting a NA so dead spot.

If they keep him but he gets suspended he's getting an out so he can be put on IL+.
