Harden is 5th in total raptor

Watch at what happens when hardens stats are qualify eligible. He will probably be ranked higher than embiid on bbref nba mvp tracker

Embiid **** all over Harden, it's ok if you like Harden and he is certaily playing much better in these last games, but Embiid is just on another level only reserved for the very best.

like i said, wait till hardens numbers qualify on basketball reference you are gonna see harden ranked way high on their bbref mvp tracker

I forgot to include SGA. My mistake. He's is around the 8-11 range. So that makes James Harden in the 18-23rd range. Far as Lebron, he is simply padding his stats on a losing team. There's a reason I didn't include him.

hardens advanced stats are better than all those guards you just named

https://dunksandthrees.com/epm

http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm

leads all those guys in win shares per 48, and is closing in on them in box plus minus

He’s missed 1/3rd of the games this season. Win shares is a nice stat, but there’s a reason why you’re using per 48….

steph curry has only played 1 more game than harden, and many have curry as a clear top 10 player and 1st team all nba selection

He’s a top 10 guard, and even then there’s an argument to be had - he’s certainly not a top 10 player. Luka, Steph, Mitchell, SGA, Booker, Ja all ahead of him. He’s in the next tier with Kyrie, Trae, Dame, Brown, Beal

Pretty underrated apparently, how well and efficiënt he's playing.

He's taking the Chris Paul route, but when Sixers need him to take over offensively, he still shows he's more than capable

He can't carry a team regularly like he did 3-4 years ago, but I like Philly Harden much better than Brooklyn Harden or Houston Harden. From the games I've seen, he seems to have settled into more of a PG role while deferring somewhat to Embid as the 76ers alpha dog and primary scorer. PG suits him at this point in his career, he's always been a good passer and had great vision and can excel at that role when he doesn't have to always carry the scoring load. His late-career game is definitely more agreeable to me than the "prime" Harden years.

All that said, he's definitely not a top 10 player anymore. Top ten guard...maybe.

Playoffs don’t matter in this discussion when ranking players, if they did jokic certainly wouldnt be on pace to winning his 3rd straight mvp after almost being swept in the 1st round last year when he won it.

Im strictly saying will James harden make an all nba team this year. I could care less about the playoffs

ranking players and deciding who deserves the MVP trophy are very different things

You seem to be talking about 3 different things.
- Top 10
- MVP
- All-NBA
Top 10 is pretty subjective and many do include playoffs. Record may or not matter depending who you ask.
MVP is a regular season award that position doesn’t matter. Record seems to certainly matter.
All-NBA is a regular season honor that positions are considered. Record tends to matter, but not always as much as MVP.
So maybe clarify what you are actually asking, because you are all over the place.

I’m strictly asking all nba

not true, you were asking top10

Anyway, All NBA teams for guards is going to be very competitive.
The only real lock, at the moment, is Luka for the first.
Then you have a group of Curry, Morant, Mitchell, Haliburton, Harden, Irving, Brown, Booker, Lillard and even a tier lower with Fox or Garland that could go in any direction depending on injuries and team results. Literally everyone of those guys could end up being left out.

Jokic was the best player on the floor in the playoffs last year. His team lost...but his was spectacular.

STOP Jokic was literally taken off the court late in the 4th quarter of multiple playoff games because Poole and curry we’re destroying him on switches

Playoffs don’t matter in context to mvp and all nba selections

How many centers does Curry not destroy in switches? He dropped 40 on elite Celtics defense in the finals.

curry isnt the only guard that torches jokic, harden used to do it for years

but thats not what im making this thread about, im talking about harden potentially purusing legal action if he is robbed of an all nba team this year and robbing him of an age 33 plus supermax

I think he's probably around 12-15 at this point but obviously still a great player, and is starting to build chemistry with Embiid

Harden is averaging 23 points 12 assists 7 boards on 48 percent shooting 44 from the three point range in January. That is while not looking to be a huge scorer
