I wonder why...

the ironic thing in all this is if kyrie didnt create yet another disruption, the best chance of he and kd winning a championship this year was probably here in brooklyn.

kd is kd.
kyrie and booker are probably a wash.
claxton and ayton probably a wash.
cp3 is way more reliable than simmons but then the nets depth wipes everything else out from here with oneal, curry, etc.

tj warren is arguably the 5th best player on phoenix.

2021 kd lost bc of kyries ankle
2022 kd lost bc of kyrie and vax
2023 kd probably gonna lose bc of kyrie contract negotiation

It wasn't about the basketball fit. It was Joe Tsai and contract negotiations.

If Tsai paid up KD and Kyrie weren't going anywhere.

he was right to not pay kyrie.

kyrie had no reason to demand a trade when he's a few months from hitting FA a whole...(checks notes)...8 months since the last time he was a FA and nobody wanted to pay him what he wanted.

he's an nba terrorist and the nets were right to not give in to his demands. you realize he was trying to leverage his supposed best friend into an extension for himself right?

Yep. Good thing is that we didn't have to lean on him too heavily to stay in the game. We know he heats up in a hurry, so hopefully he'll still have his legs under him for the stretch run.

Sharpe makes me nervous anytime he has the ball on offense if it's not a putback

Joe would have been insane to pay Kyrie without assurances.

I hear what you're saying

But to me KD is worth $80m, $100m, whatever it took under the cap to get him. So I would have paid for his crazy friend to be here.

And as unpredictable as he is, Kyrie never played around when it came to the playoffs.

Guys, this is huge step forward towards bigger thing.

I trust in Marks.

We got assets now.

I'll be back when I'm done with school and family matters.

Enjoy. God bless y'all.

This is going to be an unpopular opinion at this moment in time, but Cam’s hero ball is going to give his teammates migraines.

Right now he’s on fire, there are few other options and there’s little tape on him. But give JV the full roster with a few weeks together and if he’s still brainlessly chucking, he’s going to drive the rest of the roster crazy.

And he’s years away from fully developing and more importantly, understanding who he is and his role, in this league.

He should be a guy they try and force as the centerpiece of most trade packages this summer before it’s too late.

5 years from now he’ll probably be a premier 6xth man, or firestarter of a 3rd option, but it will probably be on his 3rd team.

Imho.

Why is Patty ahead of Sumner in the rotation?

Damn, we've hit a wall. Still have some good ball movement, but the shots just aren't going down.

Yeah I don't get this. Would have hoped JV would have adjusted after the half and brought Sumner in instead.
