Bridges, Thomas, Claxton are pretty much the only players who are safe.

This three plus CamJ for me

The issue with CJ is the contract issue.

That's why he should be the #2 on offense. We need to run plays for him. Let's see what he can do

Yes I understand he might be tough to retain for the right price , but they spend whole carrier together with Mikal , traded here together, I would like if he stays , keep the twins together

Bridges was absolutely smoking. I hope we see a lot of that going forward. The team seemed to get a nice shot of energy from his play tonight, and it seemed like everything else was sort of falling in place. Clax played smart to close it out too considering the foul trouble.

I would like to see the rotation change a bit and tighten up in some regard... we just have too many wingish guys. Wish we had another reliable big behind claxton that wasn't named Sharpe.

The rotation should be:

Dinwiddie/Bridges/Johnson/DFS/Claxton

Bench: Thomas, Simmons, Royce, and Yuta. Sharpe should play depending on if we need the size.

Sharpe should bag groceries in a supermarket

How tall are you? Because if you're not 6'11, 265lbs, we need Sharpe right now because no one else on the roster is as big as he is

Exactly. Sharpe shouldn't be bagging groceries, he needs to be playing basketball because we don't have anyone else right now

That was a really impressive game by Bridges. 45 pts on that great efficiency, still was able to play make a bit, hit the boards and there was zero defensive drop off.

This is an exciting game as a Nets fan. He was showing this in PHX and the fact he can go off like this 3rd game with a new team/city, is super encouraging.

Also Cam Johnson hasn't had the best start as a Net, but the 2nd half of tonight was the best he's looked. He was able to knock down a couple shot but also got to the rim and made some good passes.

Lastly, this is how DInwiddie needs to play. Let Bridges be more the main guy on offense and be the secondary playmaker and iso guy when needed. He should get back to being high assist, low turnover player which he can definitely be.

Love Bridges. Miss him so much. Sorry to jump into your thread. Just an aside. CamJ can easily drop 45 too. He does not have the D that Mikal does, but he is every bit as smart and has the BBIQ to be very, very, good.

We need to feature CamJ as the #2 on offense. I see a lot of skill. He needs more shots

I genuinely believe Sean and Tsai are too afraid to hold JV to an audition standard. It’s embarrassing. I do like him alot but these choices make him look like an amateur.

Yes Cam is a lethal shooter when he gets it going and a lot more athletic than given credit for by the average fan, he can get bullied a bit in the post but he is smart and also very selfless.. plays decent position defense.. just pray he doesn't hit the floor too often and he will have games where you view him as a core piece

Spencer is at his best when he lets the game come to him. He averaged 17ppg next to Luka, that's pretty good.

I think that he's been living out of a hotel since he's been traded. He hasn't even packed up his place in Phoenix.

You do realize he hasn’t been in Phoenix since the trade right? That’s not easy for anyone.

If Bridges does turn into another Leonard, we can't waste his effort by surrounding him with scrubs like Simmons. Marks needs to pull the trigger to bring in star talent this offseason.

Of course I realized this , Let’s not act NBA millionaires live and move by the same standards as regular people , if I could have my dog delivered across US within couple of days , CamJ can as well

Return to Brooklyn Nets
