JVG became more and more toxic to listen too. Jalen Rose being laid off was a fantastic decision by ESPN too.

That's only part of the Van Gundy schtick. He routinely goes on insufferable tangents for possessions on end that have nothing to do with the broadcast. I'm there to watch a basketball game, not listen to him do a terrible Jerry Seinfeld impression like it's open mic night at The Comedy Hole.

He's great. Give me those tangents instead of the same thing you hear over and over in every game. He's the best (national) color commentators, the funniest and one of the best analysts too.
