The good news is the Celts played bad and the Cs were a Jayson Tatum 3-pointer from taking the lead and possibly stealing a game in Denver.

Bad news is the Cs are still not comfortable in big games.
They get tight when the pressure is high.

Only solution is the Cs keep playing in close games.
There's just no way around it.

Other than the bad FTs JB played very well.
This is the type of JB the Cs need in the playoffs.

White was invisible again for the 2nd straight game.
Cs not winning big games if White plays like this.

Tatum just needs to keep at it.
Sooner or later the shots, late in the game, will fall.

It's a good thing it's still early March.
We don't need this happening in April and May.

I keep saying it, this team is good enough to win a chip this year, but next season is when the Cs will have the highest chance of winning it all.

But if the Cs win a chip this year, it's going to be a repeat next year.

Like Mazzulla had a semi-questionable lineup for a bit in the 2nd, and nothing else he did mattered tonight. This game was decided by the players.

Like so many on this board are so scared to criticize Tatum. Tatum is the #1 reason they lost tonight, his performance in the 2nd half vs Cleveland was ****. Jaylen's 7 missed free throws were a joke. But he made literally every shot tonight.

Like you can make a damn good argument that this team's #1 flaw is our #1 and #2 aren't good enough, and tonight the #2 almost was (his FT misses really did hurt but he was great outside of that).

SGA hasn’t proven **** in playoffs. Tatum needs to take another step with consistency in big games, but he has delivered a number of times on the big stage too.

I’m not defending Tatum. All I said was teams blitz him. My perspective is only based on big picture championship or bust. I would like us to put the ball in both the point guards hands more. More respect for Jrue and White rather than defending anyone.

Even the plays where JB stops the offense, and forces a slow entry to KP. I understand JB is trying to prove himself as a playmaker, but it’s about winning.

White and Jrue can make more efficient less predictable quick hitting on target passes. It’s more sustainable and opens up the offense for everyone. You may even get the ball back for a higher percentage dunk. That’s how Denver plays. Best decision makers have the ball. Simple game.

I understand some of JB’s shots fell today, but we can’t win this way. So yes, other teams game plan to let JB shoot you out the game.

Tatum wasn’t being blitzed nearly as much as you’re making out.

He was just passive as **** and kept blowing easy layups again

It’s the same constant problem with Tatum. He gets easily flustered, he doesn’t score as easily as other stars.

Both Denver games have been a carbon copy of Tatum’s 2022 finals. Awful forced shots, sloppy dribbling, lax defence and awful slow passing

Took him ages to even realise what a talent he had in Jokic.

He used to keep giving Nurkic and then Plumlee more minutes than they deserved instead of turning Jokic into the guy ASAP.

Considering White was invisible, Tatum had 15 pts and we shot 28.6 from 3.. that was a close game... We did alright.. I think the Nuggets played pretty close to their potential and we didn't. Decent signs for me(was way more upset with the CLE loss).

No offense, but this is the type of homerism that is going to get you completely blindsided in the playoffs.

Honestly I think there might be a little bit of internal doubt since the finals with is perfectly normal. However we need him to get over that, he has the talent when his mindset is right.
