If I busted my ass for this dog **** franchise over 9 years with 5 different coaches, terrible teammates outside of these past two years, and then at our peak get traded I'd be speechless too.
Especially if it was almost impossible to get good looks in the post because said franchise traded for another "star" player at my same position, and said star player was so limited offensively a core part of my game had to be changed.
Yeah I'd be **** speechless.
Outside of KG, KAT was the only star that didn't ask out or leave and we treated him like ****.
So take your clear disdain for him somewhere else. Loyalty matters, we have none. This probably has rocked me just as much as the Rubio trade/ Jimmy trades. And just like the Jimmy era, nothing good will of trading for a PF who can't space well.
KAT is baggage, an overly emotional wreck, that doesn't display the humility, demeanor, nor ability in high anxiety situations.. i.e. playoff .. for myself to consider his loyalty to the franchise to overlook his potential negative impact to win a championship.
Should we do well in the postseason, make the finals, your sensitivity for KAT is noted.. sorry your feelings are hurt that the organization is making decisions that you disagree with.
I don't think I've agreed with one decision this org made since drafting Ant. So not much to care for anyway.
As for KATs attitude, I'm not sure what you are talking about about. He has played with a lot of humility during his time here and ceded his role to multiple waves of players.
I'm assuming by demeanor you mean his whining to refs.
As for his play overall, he played well when there was actually a playbook for him. The 2021 playoffs was the only time in his career where he was actually given a clear role and not being shifted outside of his role. He played as expected.
2018 (parked in a corner) , 2022 (coming off injury and playing with Gobert who clogs the **** paint), 2023 more of the same.
He has constantly put his teammates first.
I can't say the same for any other player on this roster except for Conley.
