This was karma. KAT is the new Eddy Curry.

Kat did well. training camp isnt the same as a real game, especially vs the champions.

Some of us have believed in Deuce for awhile now. The man can play and showed up in the real games in the playoffs last year. Yet people want to trade him away for nothing.

Deuce is worth 3 1st rd picks now

0-1, just one game and we will move on.

1) We need a better version of OG and Bridges. We mortgage the future (CAP and picks) on them to be the wing stopper.
2) Hopefully Mcbride's continuous improvement helps to ease the painful loss of DDV, and an outside chance for the 6POY.
3) Rebounding. We shoot 56 and 38 and still lost in a big margin. Opponents' 11 offensive rebound was the issue despite their early 2k-ish shooting.
4) Brunson PNR with KAT. Need time to figure out how to work and create the mismatches, this should be our new weapon and we have a season to gel.
5) Rookies. Surprisingly despite the starting 5 we will need our rookies to play certain roles this season, whether Thibs like it or not. They could be the X factor and push us over the top (by playing well or by their trading value with good play)

It’s probably easier to incorporate a catch and shoot guy with an established pecking order with an Identity than it is to what they’re doing now. It’s a bad comparison but those heatle teams were basically .500 after 17 games their first year. So we’re basically identityless team with a lot of new parts.

My concerns have reared thwirnhead immediately. Jalen Brunaon ia all our offwnce and nobody else can really create. This allows somwonw to put a big defender on Brunson and rotate to thw orhwrs making 5 out apacing useless.

The team also has no real fire.

I think more time should be spent on discussion about the difference between jell and gel than on the game, this is something we need to sort out before we can proceed with the season.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

At least Mikal played a better game in the 2nd half...

This will take some time. I'm not worried.

Last year's team had an established identity and he was plug and play. We need a new fade and it might not take. It might be another coach with this look as well. This is more of a Kerr team than a Thibs team.

Training camp is not REAL LIFE 8-)

We had a few bad camps. Thibs teams has been turning the corner starting in December

appreciate the intel...I havent followed any of those teams but I know basketball and this is nothing new...
That Miami with Bron-wade and Bosh took more than 20 games before they built chemistry...I'm really surprised that some of the vets here are even debating this...

Only 5 players from last year are on this team...Thats a big swing...

This is a brand new team, it takes time. But Mikal’s shot finally came back in that third quarter, he started loading the shot from the hip like a normal person rather than above his head
