Last year we had Randle, OG, and Robinson/IHart from night to night

This year we have Josh Hart, OG, Towns from night to night

Much smaller and weaker on the defensive end

As much as we sh*t on Randle, he was a f**cking bully, a bruising intimidator on the floor

Can’t lose all of this size and toughness and compete with Boston and Cleveland, we are too small and weak

Can’t give up 16 points in dunks and layups in the first quarter or any half even and have a chance to win, you WILL get blown out by top teams

You had us as being play-in level. We were always gonna be a good team. Mitch being out so long has not allowed us to try a look where... I'm not saying it's gonna make us a great team but we need to see it to evaluate. They were originally saying Dec/Jan and it's almost March.

We basically lost the two players (iHart and Mitch) that could have made this hum. Huk could ultimately be a guy like that but he's not quite ready yet.

If your squad is relying on Mitchell Robinson to be a good team you already failed.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Dear Mr. Dolan,
I think it's time to step in and meddle again. The nepotism you have allowed to take hold while you practiced your pentatonic scales has led to a soft culture at the world's most famous arena. Coaches are not worried about being fired. Everybody loves the coach. Heck he doesn't even make them practice. Dads are coaches, agents are presidents. Players can convince the team to trade for their friends. It's a real country club vibe around your hallowed building. It's gotten to the point where I miss seeing your cute chubby cheeks and beautiful white teeth around these parts. Help us JD, you're our only hope.

Where the hell was Kolek tonight? Thibs gave him zero burn when he played the entire bench in the 4th?

What I was trying to say was that the worst first round matchup for the Knicks is Detroit

I don't know what Thibs has against this kid. Everytime I've seen him play I've been impressed. He makes plays. He looks like a real point guard. Huk has looked good to me. Unfortunately we have a coach that will never use them much. If the OKC coach had this team all these guys would be playing even Dadiet.

The team is beyond cooked
We losing in the second round in 4 or 5 games, maybe the 1st round if we have a bad matchup
Sucks to see the team have such a let down coming off one of the most exciting seasons ever last year

come on guys

it was a back to back, played in NY last night, had to fly to play in Cleveland tonight

our starters scored 75 points
their starters scored 72 points

it was a wash between our core and their core

to beat cleveland, our starters have to not only obliterate their starters, but also demolish their bench players

our starters did not have the legs to pull that off tonight after the overtime win last night and then having to fly out to make it in for tonight's game in Cleveland, no freaking way

we don't have explosive bench players like deandre hunter (16 points) and ty jerome (19 points), nor do we have guys who were prepared to slow them down

we are leaning on mcbride, huk, shamet, and payne to match their production, and it just ain't happening

if we can't out-produce them on offense, then we gotta really be top notch defensively and at least hold them under 110 points to make it competitive

clearly, our starting lineup is evenly matched to cleveland's, but they have a waaaay better bench

If y’all can’t take a loss, you should watch Netflix instead. This team will make noise in the playoffs and it is still only their first season together anyway. I’ll remain supportive of this squad, but this board has become lame.

The coach is a joke.

NDOS theory really gains some traction after games like this

we shouldn't be this uncompetitive vs the top teams. Something has to give.

THe defense sucks but the offense isn't good either vs those top teams either.

The lack of creativity when we really need a bucket is def an ongoing feature of the Thibs offense. It’s just ISO whatever perimeter guy up top and let them cook

I’m looking at wasted possessions every single game, we lose the game within the first 8 minutes every night
The lack of focus and accountability falls on Thibs

Looking more and more like that’s going to be Boston in the 2nd round. Nothing is set in stone yet, but a 6 game lead with 26 to go is a tough hill to climb unless CLE goes on a big losing streak

Serious qs, do y’all actually think we can get past Detroit??
We barely beat the bulls, regardless if we didn’t have OG and Hart, We still had JB, Mikal, Kat…. They have NO ONE on that level

If we play Detroit we will lose in 6

We are getting swept by Boston

If we upgraded the roster, and then regressed in the amount of games won in the 2nd round
Shouldn’t Thibs get fired?
