The whole like "We have no guards, no shooters, Paolo drives weak inside, Franz can't hit threes, Paolo takes too long to process what to do" thing and then wondering why we don't get good offense regularly" reads like some sketch comedy like whoa lets get Sherlock Holmes on the case of why this team will be doomed as currently constructed offensively

It's disgusting how long it takes to get the ball even close to the 3 point line. We're out near half court with under 10 seconds on the shot clock all the time

Our pace is so slow. In a way, it’s likely Mosley and FO making the informed decision to slow the game down since we wouldn’t be able to keep up with most teams if we ramp up the pace and give the opponents extra possessions. Basically, they’re playing the percentages and numbers game.

Yeah, for all the tall passers we have on the perimeter we certainly don’t have a Turkoglu, let alone an Ingles. Our entry passes leaves a lot to be desired.

The offense is bad by design. Which is to say, it’s a roster construction outcome. I don’t think it’s a bad thing our offense sucks. We need our best players to get better at offense

That and their defense is their bread and butter that has kept them competitive over the last two years and where most of our talent lies. As much as we hate how bad our offense is, with our current offense, we have no business being close to .500 at all. Playing crazy defense with pace is not easy to do but our young guys have to run a lot more.

The problem with this take is that Franz and Paolo are considered “max” players. Why aren’t they able to get things going if they are actually that caliber of player?

Either they aren’t at all or Mosely doesn’t know how to run an offense. Third option is blaming literally everything else.

That and the defense would suffer.
