Wow...I came here this morning to post the Jays should go big and go after both Keller and Bednar from Pitt, even if the cost was a top prospect.

Since both are not rentals and you get Keller for 3 more years, it's well worth it to go all in.

Justin bieber released a new album I don’t think he’s ready to pitch.

Can we make another deal with the Orioles and take Laureano off their hands?

As Deadline approaches, Blue Jays determined to bolster bullpen - MLB.com

BALTIMORE -- Recognizing how rare seasons like this one are, the Blue Jays remain one of the most aggressive and motivated buyers ahead of Thursday’s Trade Deadline.

The addition of Seranthony Domínguez was ideally an appetizer. It’s a fine way to start, adding a high-strikeout arm who immediately fills a setup role, but the Blue Jays are aiming higher and remain involved in trade talks at multiple levels of the relief market, sources tell MLB.com.

man, do we trust hoffman consistently against the best hitters and teams in the playoffs? i feel like we need a better closer tbh.

Very good move for the Phillies. Jordan Romano was supposed to be the guy, but now he is a 6th or 7th inning relief pitcher after being terrible in the Closer Role. They should have signed back Carlos Estevez, but felt his salary demands were way too high.

They had a major weakness, and they addressed it. Definitely a legit threat to go to the World Series right there with the Dodgers, in the NL.

Great move by Philly I think that price was too rich for us considering we need a starter + bullpen. Cant trade Nimmala or Yesavage for a reliever. Get Bednar/Jax/Helsley for cheaper.

Edit: Bednar or Jax now I guess lmao

Oh no 2 we’ve missed out on now… this is free agency all over again we’re gonna settle for the Santander lemon of relievers.
