Cade still isn't super clutch to me, but I am glad he seems to have cut out those pressured turnovers in the last 4 mins of games which cost us wins last year. That is a tough thing to progress through and he deserves the credit.

If he can work out the shot selection in those last few minutes a bit better he will be something else.

Someone recently said to me that there is no guard in the league who is better than Cade on offense who is as good as Cade on defense. And there is no guard who is better than Cade on defense who is as good as Cade on offense. That's why he is such a great player.

And you'd be getting something similar nightly from MPJ. I predict Tobias will need a game off within the next few games from actually having to try so hard.

Tobias had a great game, no doubt. But he scored 25 points and hit 3 out of 8 three pointers. MPJ is averaging 25.8 points per game and averaging 3.8 threes made for 9.5 attempts. So one of Tobias's most important games of the season is still below an average game for MPJ.

Dear [insert your preferred higher power here],

Now that the Pistons have claimed victory (thanks again for that), I have one TIIIINY little request.
May the Celtics failure HAUNT their dreams and CURSE their play, from now until the end of time!

Sincerely,
Uncle Mxy

P.S. Apologies for my previous prayer for all Celtics to choke on parquet.
I realize now I wasn't ambitious enough.

Exceeded my expectations so far and the season is halfway over and we have 31 wins.
Little over 2 weeks before the trade deadline.

time to blow it up with a block buster trade

Two things of note(besides beating the Celtics)

1.)It was obvious that Cades wrist thing is really bothering him. He missed a bunch of shots he normally makes.

2.)Ivey still isn't 100% a few times he drove, and was grabbing at his heel/lower leg, when he didn't land wierd. I wonder what it is exactly.

They'd go to Jenkins.. Levert is playing the 1... Ivey backs up Duncan.

Ya, looking at the box score minutes, Jenkins could have gotten those 8 minutes backing him up. Ivey played his 17 backing up Duncan. And stew played 3minutes with Duren so Holland and Green could have 20 instead of 12 and 18 instead of 7. Those 2 played great in limited minutes. Levert is really pointless for us right now its kinda sad lol

A fan mentioned that Jenkins probably didn't play because of the limit for 2-way players. The NBA trade deadline is Feb 5th, and I'm sure they'll give DJ a standard contract.

It’s not about whether Daniss plays… the count is on how many gsmes he’s on the active roster. He runs out right about the TDL, so a cut or 2-for-1 trade will have to be made by then.

I bet MPJ's numbers would take a big drop going from a bottom feeder where he can chuck to a system with Cade running the show. I am sure he would play well, but I still don't think he is worth his contract and what it would cost to obtain him. I would rather run with the current team.

Another clip to motivate us come playoffs. Wish Cade would've dropped this last night in the post-game.

He was QBing the offense well but his shot looks terrible since coming back from injury and he seems tentative, the wrist might be bothering him more than we think.

He's clearly hampered and it's obvious as he's not looking for his shot on most possessions. The last 2 games he's stopped shooting the ball after testing that out early in the game. The rest of the game he's basically abandoned looking for his own shot and instead is only shooting when passing lanes are covered.

It's worrisome that it's that bad. I hope that the team docs know what they are doing.
