Iggy goes 23 5 and 5 and gets a new hole ripped. If his teammates could hit a open shot he would have 8-10 assists. You might not like some of the choices but it's just comical the way people act towards this guy.

dabods:

My sense of the whole "on the court" thing that Narducci was talkign about a couple of weeks ago had to do with guys like Williams jacking shots...rolling his eyes, stuff like that.

In the postgame, Mo dancing around Paul Jolowitz' question about shot selection late in the game...and Mo danced. Wonder if Iggy has the sack to take responsibility for his poor shot selection late in the game.

Thad a +18 today. He simply must play...a LOT...which means that Iggy has got to be our SG...and right now, I still have serious reservations about whether he is a $50-55 million SG in this league.

Cassidy:

Sorry -- shooting 5-for-16 simply does not get it done...especially when you factor in how BRUTAL that air-ball 3-pointer was...

If Iggy's game worked for you today, fine.

Shooting 5-16, barely 30 percent never gets it done. Those are Allen Iverson type of shooting numbers. But, AI makes up for it by being a presense on the floor. People look at Iggy like "Who are you"

Tough loss, but a loss nonetheless. I was pleased to see Thad get the 2nd half start and a new career high in minutes. Does anyone know what the deal is with his injury? It looked pretty nasty in the replay. Hopefully its minor. He just gets better with each game.

i hate to talk for others but I think what Cassidy is saying that you guys are dumping on Iggy for dumb reasons. He's not a number one yes. But some of you guys keep bringing it up every **** game and that is just annoying after a while if you don't like Iggy then fine, just shut up about and wait until he's gone and then see how "better" we are.

So, again, when has Iguodala said anything about his teammates shot selection?

That's a heck of a lot of conjecture going on there. I mean, ****, if Mo dodged a question, it HAD to be because Iguodala made him.

Iggy had his mafia boys threaten Mo's knee caps

If Iggy's not a number one, then you expect him to be able to contribute in other ways. You expect him to defer to the Louis Williams's, the Thaddeus Young's(who, BTW, was a +18, and had a MUCH MUCH BETTER game then the 4 year swingman) or the Jason Smith's of the team. He shot 5-16 and barely had 5 assists. He played like Willie Green today.

umm.yeah it is, I remeber the game that Salmons lost for us and afterward AI called him out and he was angry about it. In that game Salmons came up the floor on a fastbreak shot and 3 airballed it, AI stole the inbound passed it and it got into Johnny's hands he fired it up and AIRBAUH!!!!!!

But we all know you hate Iggy so of course IYO he's the worse palyer in the league.

Iggy rebounds and defends better than Iverson any day of the week, and like AI, he has that uncanny ability to distribute every night. AI attracts more attention on the offensive end, but its not like Iguodala only affects one dimension of the game...

That's obvious exaggeration made to prove a point that it wasn't a wise decision.

But I guess you're going to defend why it was a smart move.

By Willie Green, I mean the old Willie Green. He's starting to play like the kid that Jim O'Brien left on the bench. He's shooting the basketball at a high level, his defense is decent.

Wait, what? He had 16 shots in 40 minutes.

What does "barely had 5 assists" even mean?

He was 3-12 today, and had many more shots per minute (12 shots in 24 minutes) compared to Iguodala (who had 16 shots in 40 minutes)

I think the problem some of us have with Igoudala is that he appears to have been reading his press clippings and taking all the accolades to heart. Turning down the 57 million contract is certainly and indication of that. His effort level seems to have diminished lately, also. He now seems to just be going through the motions as though he is depressed now that he can't be a star and lead the team to the promised land. He is no longer satisfied to just do what he can to help the team as best he can ... with defense ... rebounding ... and occasional alley-oop dunk and a few 3-pt shots here and there. He is not a happy camper and will have to be moved ... the sooner the better, in my opinion.
If you cannot convince others that you are right, you probably aren't.

Gee, Iggy has nearly half a body on Iverson. I would HOPE he would be able to do those things.

Okay....here's some facts.

1. IT's ONE GAME GUYS.

2. Thad has one game and all of a sudden he's our savior. THIS is the same **** reason to why we are so pissed at Iggy now. WE expect way too much of him, his flaws are evident. B ut to say he's worse right now AFTER ONE **** GME is just ...........wow.

3. He could have more assists if guys could catch/make shots/ and not suck.

BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO let's trade him for a candy bar and somehow get better. you guys are a joke somedays.
