Thad's best quality IMO is his ability to convert almost every time he touches the ball anywhere near the rim. He seems to have a nice array of moves down there. Seems to use his body well to shield off defenders.

Well... this is a game that inches us closer to being out of the bottom 10 but hey... this team isn't going to be fixed via the draft.

Would be nice if he could figure out how to draw a foul though.

His post game is very refined. That little spinning lefty hook down on the left block looks like the makings of a go-to move.

It could be if it were ever given the chance.

Good loss in Andre coming up with some big shots down the stretch and Young looking solid. Bad loss in another loss from a better pick. Outside of Young, this season blows.

My guess is because Mo mainly stuck with the guys that got them back into the game and gave them the lead.

Thad's post game has definitely been the highlight of the season for me. That was one of the worries about him, pre-draft. He had a huge advantage in the post in college, and rarely used it. More and more that appears like a coaching thing (or a "I need to work on my perimeter game for the future/nba" thing). Regardless, he definitely doesn't seem to drift on the perimeter, and can definitely finish down low.

Does Thad start the rest of the way, regardless of matchup? Or does Mo go back to a traditional 4 (Jason Smith/Reggie Evans) when we play bigger opponents?

He's shooting 41% with more turnovers than assists. I'd want more from a 24 year old.

Thad didn't use his strengths because of his coach wanted him to work on his perimeter game. It ended up hurting his draft stock by exposing that god awful handle but we win because of it.

I think Thad starts the rest of the way. Reggie looks way better off the bench and Jason just isn't playing the same as he was early in the year.

Edit: i go to school down the street from tech and alot of people had the same question dbod's

 Come on bro. Have you watched him?

I'm not suggesting we should have taken him over Thad. But he's at least been impressive. He's a legit scorer. I'm sure you loved it when people would bring up Iversons FG%.

Comparing a bench players FG % and the attention he draws to a 30 ppg scorer is a little stretch, don't you think? Wouldn't you agree it's easier to take high percentage shots when you're not a top option on your team? Andre Iguodala's the perfect example. Iverson's proven what he can do offensively when around another offensive player, as he's shot 45% from the field since he's been in Denver. Thornton's the 6th leading scorer on his team and coming off the bench as a forward. 41% is terrible.

His defense stinks and his offensive is inefficient. No, I'm not impressed.

Watch him. He's pretty good.

I'm not arguing with you, you just seem real sensitive when it comes to Al Thornton.

I've seen him. Admittedly not a lot (Clippers aren't exactly a regular on national tv). But I'll disagree that he's pretty good. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Haha

Eyetoma has made the best comparison ever in the history of comparisons. Blatche looked like a future allstar out there compared to Thad lol. We should trade Thad and Dala for him and thorw in Sammy so they will take the deal lol. What the hell was with Carney tonight? He actually looked like an Nba player lol.
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.
