I think Cho is waiting for Parson to get matched or not. If Rockets matches, they will have $15m to spend on Lance. If they don't, I think Cho will offer 12m/year for Lance. If they match, he will try to shed salary and outbid the Mavs.

I'm going to be anxious as hell until we find out one way or another if Lance will be a Hornet or not. Also, with the way Cuban has screwed us on trades in the past I'm going to be pissed if we end up going after Lance and lose him to Dallas. Eff you Cuban!

Dallas can't offer Lance the potential to be frontman with Dirk there.

We can offer him the potential to be the face of a franchise, equal money as Dallas and younger teammates he can grow with.

But really we give him open access to star power so he won't have to live in the shadow of another player like he did in Indiana with Paul George.

If he comes here, he could be the guy if he plays up to his potential.

Lance is a young black guy from NY I just cant see him choosing to work for Mark Cuban in Texas over MJ in Charlotte. We can only hope. Side not will the williams signing hurt our chances of getting lance?

Couldnt have said it better myself. Its almost like the situation Lebron was in, go play with the old guys or go play with the younger guys he can grow with. Not to mention he can be one of the first guys to put on the new Hornets jersey and start a new dynasty.

That's a good point about MJ/Charlotte being more preferable than Cuban/TX, but no I don't think the Marvin signing hurt our chances of signing him. If we have to we can always attach a draft pick to Henderson to move him. That said we can still afford to pay Lance 12 a year and sign a backup point using the full MLE without moving Gerald.

I certainly hope not. If Charlotte's front office had no intentions of signing Lance, then fine. But I really hope they aren't intending to go after him but can't offer enough because of this signing with Marvin.

I'm really hoping Houston doesn't match Chandler Parsons.
