He has to own his own career path, good and bad, which is why I'm not mad he asked for a trade (again, if he did). It's his career, but I don't see any conspiracy or agenda to keep him down. I see players ahead of him who were better, point blank period.

Nonsense. They never called his number even though he produced well last year. They are the ones who wouldn't play him in games.

Nonsense?? They called his number for a few weeks during training camp right? Are you suggesting he didn't play during camp? That's when he would've/could've EARNED minutes. He didn't EARN minutes.

Training camp was what, about 5 games long? Didn't Kanter, O'quinn and Kornet play in training camp too?

Glorious training camp. Where stars like Sessions win starting jobs. Oh wait.

The purge on our big men has begun.

Noah told not to return
KP taken out by a deliberately planted foot
Willy given away for scraps
By the end of the season Trey Burke might just be our starting center.

Willy will be lucky enough to crack 10mpg on that team.

Watch him get 20. They had too many centers, yet they wait for KP to get hurt to trade Willy

Don't have faith in this organization after a move like this. If they trade any first round draft picks, they deserve the mob demanding their firing.

Ant did foul KP on the replay. Not dirty but he caused the injury because it twisted KP's knee landing to be hit in midair.

Yes! They did, and as we all know preseason and training camp is a tryout of sorts. Fringe players fight for roster spots. Guaranteed players fight for playing time. After that fight, Kanter and O'Quinn had playing time, so clearly the won, or EARNED, playing time. See how that works?

Don’t worry. In two years Willy is a free agent and they give him $71m

watch Charlotte flip him for a 1st ... he's joining a team with

Dwight Howard
Zeller ... lottery pick
Frank ... lottery pick

Good luck

It wasn’t even “expecting”. It was “hoping”. Are we supposed to “hope” for the mediocre package we received?

more like dreaming

Maybe. Your point is what? That Knicks fans were dreaming if they hoped on getting Monk?

Do you think everyone doesn’t know that was an unlikely scenario? That maybe they just hoped for something good to come out of this situation? That’s what you want to spend your time on? Trashing folks for hoping that something unlikely that would be great for their team would happen?

Pretty lame

Yes! Oh wait, that wasn't right... So Jack eventually starts and Sessions is where now? On the bench. The market corrected itself. If Willy is STILL on the bench now, that means the guys in front of him never faltered and/or he never beat them out for minutes! Bringing up other players only strengthens my argument. Hornacek is clearly willing then to make adjustments if someone earns it.

So you're saying that if the Knick organization decided that Kanter and O'Quinn were better (even if slightly better) then the logical course of action is to never play Willy so as to reduce his value to nil? Have you been hanging out with Beasley or something?

same scenario where they learned enough about jack for him to have run sessions off.

Good old refs don't even call the foul. Ant clearly bumps him.

I'm off topic but I just saw it on ESPN. Ant bumps KP and so he lands badly.

Why not at least wait till the offseason to shop Willy? He could sweeten a package. Now we have 2 2nds. Whoopdie freaking dooo.
