Fans in the crowd, not clutch, emotional and can’t “move on to the next” & his mind probably not peak. All while doing it in NY. Pressure makes diamonds & Randle ended being a shiny rock. And not the type from Uncut Gems.

I don't think how Randle plays is all Thibs.
It's half Thibs, in that Thibs sees Randle having on ball skills as a good thing, while we all see that SOME Randle on the ball would be ok.
Harris' game just isn't like that, so I think it would stop.
Get Brunson in, Harris, and the Knicks would at least play normal NBA basketball.
I mean, they could trade Randle and start Obi and that would work too, but that's not happening; Randle would have to go for some large contract player.
I dunno. Maybe if that big rumored trade between the Kings and 76'ers happens, Knicks can get in the middle and trade Randle to one of them.

On Harris: probably he doesn't PG the ball up the court, but I think it would be very sticky in his hands in the half court. Ofc, if the Knicks get Brunson then nobody else gets a chance to dominate the ball too much - which would be a sizeable improvement.

He's ok. He makes some nice plays. He might get good at it at some point, or good enough, and I think in part it's a credit to the Knicks to try and get a 6'1" SG to learn PG.
But a lot of times he's kind of bad.
Then again, Thibs offense is really awful, so who knows.

If the Knicks got Harris but not Brunson, Harris would resemble all the things that were bad about Melo, but with less talent and more cost.

This team would be so much more enjoyable if Randle, Fournier, Burks, and Noel weren’t here. We literally should have done nothing in FA.
