If jake calls this and it happens, he would call more raptor leaks then any of our locals combined for the last 20 years

So I'm in favour of a Miles Turner trade, but didn't re request a trade initially because he's not happy in his current role? How happy is he gonna be being the 5th option out there as one of our starting 5? Not to mention how happy is Barnes or GTJ gonna be as the 6th man?

I'd be hesitant to make this trade as right now there seems to be great chemistry in the locker room and this could backfire, bigtime. I'd also want the FRP to be next year's, or at least be heavily protected for this year, like top 16 protected, in case the experiment explodes in our face

Goran and a (protected?) 1st rounder for 1.5 seasons of Turner is a grand slam for us

Pass on Gallo, old and slow defensive disaster waiting to happen.

Also interesting that the holdup for CJ to the Knicks is Portland not wanting any salary for next year. Just swing Noel, Burks, maybe a tiny sweetener if we’re greedy and you can have Goran’s expiring.

Not a Gallinari fan. But it's worth pointing out that only $5 million of his $21.45 million(!) is guaranteed next year. If it's an either/or situation of buy out Goran or trade him for Gallo, would you do it?

He's forced to play a diminished role teritrary to Sabnois and perimeter guys on a bad team, way different than his would be situation in Toronto. Here he'd be the main big man on a winning team.

I'd start him in the playoffs based on matchups.

If there's no other available deals he does add desperately needed offensive capability to the bench.

Whatever defensive shortcomings he's had he's almost always been a net positive player on the court just because of his offensive efficiency. Our bench of Dalano, Precious and Boucher provides zero offensive creation at this point. He would help.

He would totally compromise our defense. No thank you.

This is a good point, would make Galli a good trade chip this summer. Ie, you can trade him to a team looking to dump long term salary (raptors either like the player they are getting and/or get a sweetener or some kind) and the receiving team can simply buy out Galli for $5MM.

Why on earth do you guys want Dinwiddie. He is inefficient, can't shoot, a bad defender, thinks he is an all-star cause Kobe told him he is. Is injury prone and is owed over 36 million guaranteed in the next 2 season after this. Yall smoking some strong stuff.

Gallo isn't a good defender, but he tries and he's really smart. The same team that wanted Goran to play also wants Gallo, who Ujiri loves and has traded for in the past. He would absolutely be better than Banton, but I understand the frustration of fans wanting more.

As for Fischer rumours, just last week he said there was no interest in Dragic. He's not a legit digger, just throws everything he hears out there. We can reliably understand that Dragic + 1st has been shopped around the league. It doesn't mean that the Pacers are ready to accept that, and if they're leaking they likely are trying to get that and more from someone else.

it seems like Pacers have an standing offer of Dragic + 1st
they want to see if some team will give them more.
