Will be interesting seeing how fast Love gets comfortable. I do expect him to get significant mins in his first game. I assuming he will get the combination of Olynyk and Tucker plays.

Who will play off his screens the most will be interested.

These are all scoring highlights from this season.

I think even this KLove is going to help this teams offense more than most expect. If this is how Love shoots in a down year and he's now apparently recovered from his injury then he should improve our shooting/spacing quite a lot.

Notice how many shots in this vid have guys closing out hard. When guys bite on Love's pump fakes he also takes a dribble/side step to take an open 3 rather than drive to create more traffic in the paint.

Having a guy that can PnPop going to be great for Herro too. As a guy who struggles to get in the paint, he should now have more opportunities to attack the basket and not be forced to take floaters as there will be less congestion in the paint and he'll either only have to beat one man or he'll have an easier pass to an open Love.

I'm really excited to see what he brings to our squad. He might not be who he used to be, but we haven't had someone with his skillset since CB.

I’m calling it now: if Love does well, he’s resigning here this summer, we trade Lowry and we will build the team with good but not great players and try to take that 90s Heat approach of out working others and counting on team ball to lead us to wins.
Damn Weatherspoon and Mashburn!

Really excited about the final 20 game sprint. Most optimistic I have felt all season.

Pat’s been angling for a whale the whole time. He will abandon that and go for the Bucks model which is the old Heat model.

gre up on Heat hype still remember Harold Miner as baby Jordan hype train. I dont want the Heat to skip out of looking to develop young prospects through the draft. It hasnt all been bad.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

If you want to try to get some value out of Duncan for the team and possibly rebuild his trade value, having a backup center coming off the bench with him that knows how to run DHOs be a good start. As his DHOs has declined so has his 3pt shot, maybe it's a way to get him into his groove again. Just adding these 2 guys on the buyout market give Spoelstra a lot of options he didn't have for most of this season.

Hopefully K Love can breathe life into this team. I think Duncan is due to have a resurgence with new teammates that are perhaps more relatable. Look for him to have an impact post all star break

Exactly what I was thinking. Seems like a signing with trying to breathe some value into Duncan.

Ok if the team is relatively healthy besides Lowry and can stay healthy, the Heat should make it a goal to catch Philly. Need to Dipo to play like he was playing well earlier this season, Jimmy to stop coasting and pick up his game, Herro to start proving himself as a star and Kevin Love to fit in. 6 games behing Philly, if this team is a legit playoff team they should be able to get to that goal of the 3 rd seed.

Not enough games left to catch Philly imo. Granted we do play them 3x but we’d have to run the table for at least 5-7 in a row and hope they lose just as much in the same frame. We can still be a legit playoff team without getting there, its not as if Philly or Cleveland are bad teams.

Not saying it will be easy. If the Heat go 16-7 the rest of the way they should be in that area of 3-4 seed. Unless those boys ball out at the end as well.
