"Feels like somebodies missing" - Bosh

"Lebron, on Twitter? doesn't seem like the guy I know" - Brian Windhurst

I guess I may just very well accept the fact that they knew this all along.

Seriously, LeBron is playing the media, nothing that came out today is true, Miami and New York are the beards.

This guy is straight up Lyin on Bron right now. Has no idea I'm at the next table over. 4 yrs ago I might have spit in his face.

(This is one of LeBron's good friends.... notice he didn't downplay the Miami report... only Puffy's)

Barring the unlikely even that Lebron signed with Boston for 2 years so that he could go up against Kobe on a level playing field, I was hoping Lebron would stay in Cleveland and I still hope he does. But the Heat will be the best team in the east and probably NBA if they can pull this off and their 3 stars stay healthy. It is easier to add good role players then it is 2 have two genuine superstars and an all star.

If i was Lebron, I would have considered a sign and trade in which I could opt out or just sign for 2 years. Let the Cavs have some future draft picks and then come back to a much stronger Cleveland team after 2 years. It may be hard for Cavaliers fans to accept a 2 year absence of Lebron but he could sell it has he is going away to college for 2 years and then coming back home. In the interim, James can win one or two championships and then come back to a Cleveland squad that has gotten rid of some bad contracts and gotten some top lottery picks. I don't blame Cleveland management for being unwilling to do a long term sign and trade but Lebron is actually in the unique position in which he could say that he is going to team X for 2 years and then coming back to Cleveland as long as they have cap room.

If I was Lebron and I felt I had to leave for whatever reason, I would want to sign a contract in which I could get out of it after 2 years. What if Wade or even Bosh gets a major injury?

As much as I dislike Pat Riley, if Lebron does leave Cleveland, I am glad that he doesn't end of in NY or Chicago. In my opinion Lebron is a better all-around player then Jordan so I certainly did want him to go to a city in which he wouldn't be fully appreciated.

If he chooses the Heat, it's hard to suggest that he would have left Cleveland if things were close to even. 2 superstars on the Heat plus one legit all star. None of the other teams offered that. Cleveland has some good players surrounding Lebron but no one that is a legit top 25 player in the nba in my honest opinion.

Leaving for 2 or even 3 years to join the Heat can be justified but if Lebron does leave the Cavaliers I hope he comes back to the Cavaliers after a few years and still in the prime of his career.

Part of me thinks LeBron's camp is just floating this Miami thing to gauge the reaction. And what I've seen has not been positive.

Wish I believed that. But I don't. Brian Windhorst just updated his article in the PlainDealer, and his family & friends have indeed been talking about it. Apparently his mind was pretty much made up from the beginning. They even bought the website MiamiThrice.com the day before Free-agency started (Jun 30th).

You were right about LeBron playing the media though... he's made everyone think they had a shot.

Truth is, he knew all along he was leaving the Cavs.

I have never hoped that an athlete hurt themselves... but in this case, with how he has treated Cleveland fans, & the people of Ohio...playing with their emotions... I hope he injures himself and becomes a cripple, then loses all of his money to scam-artists... Con men... just like himself.

Well, welcome to the world of LeFail hating.

He is the biggest self-promoting bag of dung out there. He hasn't even won a ring and he completely quit on you guys in the playoffs.

I still dont see them winning a ring next year. You need good role players to be a champ. They will not have them. They will also have very questionable interior and on-the-ball defense.

I feel for you guys, I was hoping he'd come back in Cleveland. Somethings are just right... and somethings are just wrong. LeBron belongs in Cleveland.

Call him up and see if that is Lebron James. He is the owner of the domain.

Kevin Garnett to LeBron: Loyalty hurts you

Post#834 » by chenaren » Thu Jul 8, 2010 10:54 am

Kevin Garnett
"Honestly, he's gonna have to make a decision on not just him, but his family and his future," Garnett said when asked in his postgame press conference what LeBron would have to deal with.

"Loyalty is something that hurts you at times because you can't get youth back. I can honestly say that if I can go back and do my situation over, knowing what I know now with this organization, I'd of done it a little sooner."

Here is the thing. If he'll go to Miami he will hurt his legacy. If LeBron wants to be the greatest player ever he'll must stay here!
Come on Bron how the hell you can leave?Don't hurt Ohio.
I believe he'll stay.If not he is a person with no heart.
He always be a great talent but this decision is not only about basketball and everyone knows that.DON'T HURT OHIO damn it.

ur DRAFT PICK

Post#839 » by drosEshe » Thu Jul 8, 2010 12:19 pm

with the imminent departure of LBJ, ur team will absolutely have a hard time competing in the EAST. ur team is lottery bound. but my question is, do u still have draft picks next year and so on. . . u were trading to surround Lebron and future draft picks must have been involve
