I would think that would be better to handle that behind closed doors or other ways. Its all just making this franchise look even more crazy and disfunctional...had to have known the media and fans would run with this. Perception can be just as real as reality at times.

I bet Phil would agree, which is why he has been trying to handle it behind closed doors since April.

At what point do you make your point?

Phil isn't even doing anything crazy. It is in his job description to entertain offers from other teams. Is it crazy to simply not declare a player who is showing character concerns untouchable?

I'm not sure. Hard to say since I don't know all that's happened behind the scenes. Maybe they have to wait until KP shows up at training camp or fine him if that's allowed. I'm sure they will talk it out and nothing will get done as Phil alluded to anyway

It's just the way it's all going down and other situationxs as well that has me concerned

i'm still doing that too even though everybody knows they have the 3rd pick instead of the 1st now. i guess because there isn't much difference.

#3 pick Josh Jackson will be > KP

Other than the knicks board KP isnt considered of that highly. How do you not make the playoffs in the weak East with KP if he is considered to be a superstar along with Melo who is a star.

It doesn't work like that. Grow up. The Knicks have serious problems from the top to the bottom.

Real superstars should be able to put the problems aside and still win.

A package that pJax wants from Boston would get you Anthony Davis

The Knicks have no superstars.

I'd do that.

Porzingis obviously isn't AD but he has the potential to be as good, IMO

And regardless of that Porzingis is on his rookie deal and Davis is on a max deal. That plays a HUGE role in what they are worth.

Tbh. :noway:
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

Cause maybe the kid tried to expresss himself throughout the year (i.e. During post game interviews saying the triangle isn't working and players aren't happy) over and over again and nothing was working. Maybe he just got tired of words falling on deaf ears bro

If Boston makes a deal for 7 then trade is a go. They aren't doing that just because

Will the Knicks fans start booing if KP gets traded during the draft? That would be pretty ironic.

Jackson is doing what's right for the organization, and you guys are still saying he's the problem. Unreal.

Brad Stevens would be incredible for KP which almost makes this worse...we never got to see KP in NY with competent leadership.

This is why the Knicks shouldn't do a deal like this unless they receive future picks as well. There is only so much talent in this one draft, and we know from history that not every pick will work out. There are diminishing returns with receiving multiple picks in the same draft.
