MLE, but I think that if they use the full amount they're in lux tax land.

Depends on Jabari. If Jabari walks for nothing, they can easily spend the full MLE of $8.6 million on some combination of players and not go over the tax.

But by the time he walks, the FA will be signed, most likely.

Right. That's why I said I dont really see why Philly would do that but if they dont want the extra money on their cap they may cut ties with someone they think Jabari is an upgrade over. Give Jabari the contract and trade someone they're unsure if they'll extend in the short term? If I'm Philly I love Dario over Jabari anyway, maybe Fultz they'll move on from if they dont think hes a long term solution. But its gonna take more than Jabari to get Fultz too.

It’s just Alex Lasry, you can ignore him.

No, been a Bucks fan a lot longer than Alex.
Just don't add any long term salary.
Give Bud a year.

That’s why it will be interesting to see if the Bucks strike fast on someone tonight with the knowledge they may let Jabari walk if it comes to that.

I'm sure that has been answered but if the Bucks trade Mirza will his contract expire for his new team in November?

There are no "strike fast" players available that the Bucks can afford, though.

Honestly may be better off just not adding salary. If we do complete a Jabari S/T, you'd want it to be for a long-term piece, not an overpriced solid vet type. If the reports of Middleton opting out are true, and I'm assuming they are, you are either forced with giving him a huge deal, or letting him walk and hoping you can land another top FA.

Bucks are in a really damn tough spot. Their lack of drafting ability/adding additional firsts, and wasting FA money is really showing when you look at the roster right now. It's going to be a very tough fix.

I’d look to the centers. Plausible one of them decides to take quick money and a comfortable musical chair here in Milwaukee versus waiting and maybe getting screwed badly. Examples: Noel, Wilt, KOQ

Bucks could toss a 2/$16 or similar at midnight tonight and those three might not see that much money elsewhere if they wait.

Mirza isn't on the roster so he can't be traded.

If Jennings isn't released before midnight tonight, his contract becomes guaranteed. I swear, if he's still here tomorrow.

With how many guards we have on the roster, and Jennings sucking ass, would be really a dumb move to keep him.

Yeah, I guess there is that little hiccup.

I really wish the Kyle O'Quinn lovefest would end. He can't help us.

The only reason I can even imagine that he's hasn't been waived is he could be used in a trade today. Other than that, what's the holdup?

One of the Bucks biggest weaknesses last year was the bench. 22nd best bench net rating. When you factor in them likely losing Jabari, yikes. Current bench if Snell starts is Brogdon, Delly, DiVencenzo, Brown, Maker, Zeller. That's ugly. And that's with Henson starting, who I believe needs to be upgraded.

I saw somewhere that Bucks are willing to eat Deng's contract for Ball. So let's do it right

Bucks get Ingram, Deng
Lakers get Bledsoe, Vucevic, Mil future 1st
Magic get Ball, Delly

Let Magic gamble with Ball and take Ingram. Lakers still sign Lebron and George. Taking back two exp players leaves them with flexibility to sign Leonard in 2019

I'd do it.

Snell starting is another yikes moment.
