PJ Washington, Brandon Clarke, and Rui Hachimura also invited to the green room.

Read on Twitter

Edit: Sekou has been invited as well, so that's 16 so far.

I'm usually more open to trading up than I am in this draft, but I'd still be ok with it depending on who they were targeting. The problem is that the guys I would be willing to trade up for are probably getting drafted high enough that the price of moving up is too much.

He said
“Hornets have looked into moving up in the draft from their current No. 12 spot in the first round. It will be tough assembling the trade capital to make that happen in the next week, but GM Mitch Kupchak is active.”

Replied it would take more than Bridges/monk/12/36 to move to 3rd

And more than monk/12/36 to go to 10.

I’m gonna assume we’re gonna have to give up 2 firsts to move up where we want + possibly more. No thank you

Honestly this guys is laughable, it’s like he wants this team to fail. He really doesn’t think Monk and 36 moves up to 2 spots???

He has to be the worst beat reporter in NBA...

Hard to know who we are targeting, but scary if it’s White or Garland... means we might hit restart and let Kemba go.

I’m a big culver fan tho.

Monk and 12 might interest the Bulls at 7, that's as far as we're likely to get without paying too much.

I'd do 12+Monk for White even if Kemba stays. Run a two PG lineup, both can play on or off the ball. Let White drive more, reduce the wear and tear on Kemba.

Just listened to Bonnell on the radio on way home and he is just so negative.

Saying he doesn’t think we have pieces to trade for a running mate for Kemba.

Doesn’t see anybody worth drafting at 12, so he would rather just use it to dump salary.

Just such a loser mentality towards this team saying we haven’t found anyone for Kemba for 8 years so nothing will change.

I remember why I don’t care he blocked me.

No idea why he’s been able to keep his job for so long.

This team hasn't had much to cheer about, but Bonnell is still a miserable twat that should have been reassigned or fired years ago.

Monk doesn't do anything for me, but I'd do a straight swap of Bridges/7. From there, you have would have 2 lottery picks, which I think is what you'd prefer to have in this draft, or you could probably trade up to 3 or 4 with both of those picks, imo.

Bonnell said in reply to someone on twitter that Monk/Bridges/12 wouldn't be close to getting you to 3, and I think he's wrong. NY should be very happy with that return. And heck, the situation I mentioned above would get you to 3 with only Bridges/12.

Attaching monk to the number 12 pick actually moves you down slots not up. Rimshot.

I don't normally agree with Bonnell but this time I do. We either have to attach miles or a future first-round pick to move up far enough to get someone of real value. And he is certainly not wrong about failing to surround Kemba with a decent running mate. Of course I'm sure he followed that up by mentioning Donovan Mitchell 15 times.

Any footage of him shooting in-game clips? He looks excellent but his jumper seriously worries me. Seems like he doesn't trust a natural stroke and it's all wrist action. Works in workouts but leaves tons of margin for misses in a game.

If he plans to give up 12 and 36 to move up 2 spots then this team is DOOOMED. There is no way that this

#12-NAW
#36-BAZELY
#51-COOK

is not better than any other overrated dude in the top 5. Who are they so in love with that they have to have to package the whole team. They are the same guys who allowed Kemba to enter free agency without trading him. Now they will either lose him or have to give him a 5 mill contract and put the team on hostage for basically the next 3 years. Thats 3 years of finishing right before the playoffs and getting lesser than talent on average in draft picks.

The only reason I see us moving up is to pick up Culver as he is the only prospect in range that can fit with Kemba and help immediately. But seriously, we gotta be realistic about our assets guys. Bonnell isn’t too wrong here. Do y’all really think Monk has much value around the league right now? Do you think a team will trade down for Bridges who’s ceiling is still really questionable?

Wait I think I know what they are doing. Many analyst have been saying Minny wants to pair Clarke with Towns to shore up Town’s defensive weaknesses. Atlanta already has many first round picks so moving down 2 spots from 10 won’t really change much for them. We about to give up assets to leap frog Minny, only to draft Brandon Clark

If a move up happens I hope Sekou is the target. This team is hopeless if Clarke is their guy.

When you see teams try to trade up to grab mediocure players and give up on players who they just drafted who actually started to play well as season ended shows their lack of knowledge and desparation.
