NYC is about to go into lockdown and soon other states will follow

Maryland basically is on lockdown now. All stores are closed at 5 PM unless it's for medical purposes, groceries or something.

I'm talking about civilians are going to be questioned on the streets about their purpose for being in the public and if they don't have a good enough reason for being out then the authorities are being given the green light to take action

We're getting there...

“Depending on the call and location, we will first make contact with the owner or manager of the establishment. If voluntary compliance does not occur, we will take enforcement action, in cooperation with the local state’s attorney.” said Maryland State Police Superintendent Cl. Woodrow W. Jones III.

The superintendent said that if the violation at an establishment involves customers or those who have gathered and they don’t leave when asked, they could be arrested.

“If the violation at an establishment or gathering involves customers or simply individuals who have gathered and voluntary compliance has not occurred, appropriate action will be taken that could ultimately result in the arrest of the individuals involved.” Jones said in the statement.

Any violation of the executive order is punishable for a fine of up to $5,000 or one-year in jail- or both, Jones said.

A lot of folks are still on the streets as if nothing is going on. Look at the kids who've been flocking to the beaches in Florida because they somehow believe they're invincible. These are difficult times. This probably should happen.

The sooner the better if people keep ignoring instructions and endanger everyone (it won't be just the idiots dying but the elderly in their communities). The other day, police had to ticket a juice bar in Queens and a hookah lounge in Brooklyn for flouting the rules and letting customers congregate inside despite repeated warnings from the cops. Police already have authorization to arrest if the trial summons issued aren't enough to dissuade idiots.

In France and Italy, you need to print out a form and fill in your name, date, and reason for going out, for every single trip, so that you have proof if cops ask you. People need to take this seriously. California governor said his models showed 25M people, 60% of the state's population, succumbing if he didn't shut everything down right now.

The death toll is going to increase precipitously once the hospitals get overwhelmed, like in Italy. Something considered minor right now, like appendicitis, can become a death sentence since there won't be room in hospitals for you to get minor surgery. Hospitals in Italy have to choose who lives and who dies before even getting medical care.

Peter Alexander gave the resident the biggest opportunity to act presidential without a teleprompter and he once again showed us who he really is.

We don't need a Republican or a Democratic president, we need a president. We need a leader and we are lacking in that department in trying times right now.

Yes

We'll make it through this and come out on the other side in 2021 when an adult will address the nation and Trump will be arrested, likely first by the SDNY or NY State authorities.

Last I saw, there were about 30 ongoing investigations into Trump on either the Congressional, Federal or State and Municipal levels. He'll end up behind bars

I got a letter yesterday afternoon from my job stating that I’m considered an essential employee with instructions to show it to the cops if I get stopped. So I knew this was coming

If you don't have the family or friends to talk to there is this:

hopefully this passes soon and we can all go back to making fun of DSjr broke ass J

At least you took the time to tear someone down.

New here. Quarantine got me looking for things to do. Sadly also a knicks fan. (Don't know why I do this to myself)

On the other hand I was lucky I had a heads up this would happen and had a few weeks heads up to stock up. Be patient this is going to take a while.

Yes I am.
1. STFU GTFO.
2. New player comes in the offseason magically he will turn into an all star because some youtube highlight video said so regardless of the body of work of said player during his career.
3. Frank can do no wrong.
4. Every other rookie sucks and can do no right.
5. Dolan is always at fault regardless of data saying otherwise. (not saying he doesnt overall suck)
6. Democrat good. Republican bad.

I think that about covers.
