How differently do people feel about what we give up in deals for griffin and/or Westbrook if they sign extensions?

I started reading this thread, seems like years ago hoping for a blockbuster trade. Now I'm al oat content just reading the random bull. They need to start a sitcom based on this. Best damn bunch of crazy Celtics fans evah.

I don't think either Griffin or Westbrook ever signs a 4 year deal, Lebron has set a precedent of these superstars doing 1 year deals and choosing their own teams every season.

Purge was pretty good, though I thought they tried to fit as many stereotypes as possible in on the shop owner guy

Not only that, but we don't even know what the CBA will be next year. The introduction of a supermax contract could means tens of millions for the elite guys on top of the cap jump.

Please no Break Griffin. Guy is made of glass and trading Crowder's contract for him would be a blunder. Jae is going to be a legit top asset in the league in 2 years when he's in his prime and making half of what BACK-UP SFs make.

No confirmed meeting yet, but Danny is taking Wally the Whale's picture in SD, IT is in SD, apparently they said Brad came with Danny too, But no meeting confirmed by any insiders here up to now. Most likely if there will be, it'll be tomorrow.

Yeah i really don't want to give up Jae...but knowing the upside that Jaylen has it makes trading Jae away more palatable. Still, it will be very sad if he does get traded.

It surely is not the "only reason" as Lebron has been doing 1+1's since 2014.

Its obviously a big factor but these elite superstars also value the flexibility as the only real risk for guys like Durant, Lebron, Westbrook, etc is injury and even off an ACL tear or something serious they still will get max offers from every team in the league.
