Man City win back to back EPL titles, in the toughest two-team race ever (98pts vs. Liverpool's 97pts). Then Kawhi/Raptors get their NBA renaissance moment. THE SHOT.

Still not over any of this.

Fun story: sitting at my local mall, drinking a coffee, and next to me is a group of elderly men (have to be in at least their 70s) and they are talking about watching "that basketball game last night". We made it!

Raptors couldn't have ask for better preparation heading into the ECF. They had to deal with embiid and Nikola, chasing JJ around, harris, dealing with a super sub like ennis, the alto ins size of the sixers, and a quick PG in DJ thats good at getting to the rim. Also a player like Butler that got to his spots at will.. If they're not ready for the bucks now, they'll never be.

Really didn’t need to post that sage steele bull that was a dig

Yeah what Sage Steele said is absolute BS. I guess this is an argument people have been having for over a year now but he did not quit on the Spurs. Did you guys hear what he said in his TNT post game interview last night minutes after the shot? He said that last year was so tough for me and that he prayed every day that he would get better. Ive never seen Kawhi so candid in that regard. Right there - in that moment - I felt like I understood why Kawhi wanted to leave San Antonio. I think he felt betrayed by San Antonio because they didn't believe in him and his injury - he didn't feel their true support - because he's a "quiet" guy - but really, Kawhi was injured and he knew it deep down to be true.

I kind of feel bad for sixers fans. That's the worse way to lose a game. When you lose like that you just can't believe it. You're just praying the refs call something to send the game to overtime. Remember those game winners by the hornets against us, and how that felt.. This is to end your season man. These guys will forever hate the raptors. They're going to hate us more than we hate the celtics. It's better to lose big, because you know it's coming.. Just imagine little kids in philly watching this game.

I never understood the logic of being a fan of a sports team, yet always pessimistic towards the team even after a moment of optimism. It's like telling everyone you know how horrible your girlfriend is, but never breaking up with her. There's many posters here that share those same cynical sentiments, it just defeats the purpose of supporting a sports team.

not everybody in this city is a raptor fan. There's people everywhere that think its cool to go against the grain, and be the bad guy. There's a Canadian lakers fan on twitter thats always talking crap about the raptors. I'm talking like celtics level of hating on the raptors. There's a couple Lebron fans in this city that don't support the raptors.

I don't know if this has been posted but I thought it was a cool shot. It's from The Ringer.

Damn, look at the height of that release point. It's more than twice Fred's height.
