Wait a second. JaDen is Jalen's brother?

I think we could actually give LeAngelo a spot if it makes Lamelo more comfortable. He's a decent shooter and we actually lack those on the 2nd unit.

So,

PG Lonzo - Lamelo
SG Devonte - Monk - Caleb
SF Bridges - Cody
PF PJ - Jaden - LiAngelo
C Zeller - Jalen

Maybe look for an upgrade at center in free agency. Pretty solid squad with plenty of upside

Rome wasn't build in a day. This is a rebuild and that's a great start. Look at Atlanta, they have a lot of great pieces but you have to develop talent before thinking win at all costs. I'd like to see us get another top 5 pick next year.

BigSlam said measurables. I think I can rephrase that to "potential." Watching Wiseman's flashes is like watching Lamelo, opinions may vary about the product as it stands but you just can't help wondering if the flaws simply come down to environment. There is no way I can look at these highlights and say Wiseman has been coached up to his potential at this point. What would come out if someone grinds away the bad habits?

I can point to when Dwight Howard and Emeka Okafor entered the draft at the same time. Okafor, the NCAA champion and obviously more polished prospect, versus Dwight, straight out of high school and a bundle of potential. As it turned out, Okafor was almost at his ceiling even back then, while Dwight was barely scratching it.

I know a few people have mentioned Killian Hayes. I think he looks like a solid prospect but the biggest problem with Hayes is I just don't see how him and Devonte could share the floor together. They both have similar profiles and it seems like it'd be rather redundant.

I think this is basically where I'm at; maybe combine tiers 3 and 4, but I'd probably still have Haliburton atop the group.

This is why it was so key to at least stay at 8, it felt like there was a clear cutoff there and I didn't wanna have to try to sift through Okoro, Vassell, Nesmith, Patrick Williams, etc.

There's also a cutoff after 2, but obviously we're talking a higher pedigree of players there.

like Killian mainly for star potential and the lack of any other real options at that pick. I think Edwards is a chucker who will find his way as a 6th man and I think Wiseman is a stiff. LaMelo wont hardly be there by the time we pick so that leaves Hayes. I also like that Hayes is a combo guard. If he works out Graham will be one heck of a trade piece

The number 3 pick in recent history has produced much better players than the 2nd pick for some reason I do not understand. It's almost as good as the top pick.

Wow, go back even further and look at historical number 3 picks. It’s a hall of fame list. Of course we already have the worst possible number 3 pick if all time. Whoever we pick will have something in common with Michael Jordan and two things in common with Baron Davis and Adam Morrison.

Mitch has been one of the few GMs to break the number two pick curse. Russell got paid while Okafor is struggling to stay in the league, and Ingram is about on par with Jaylen Brown. I hope that bodes well for whoever we draft in October.

I have never liked the top two picks anyway because imo it's unnecesary pressure to pick certain players. 3 provides a lot more flexability. We pick 3 can draft any of

LaMelo
Edwards
Wiseman
Hayes
Toppin
Advija
Haliburton

Whereas with pick 1 or 2 its usually a 2 man race
