I would do Randle for Fox.

This is the obvious deal because Sacramento has no stretch 4, or legitimate scoring big man.

They keep playing Barnes at the 3 (even though he's more of a modern day 4) and have been going with Bagley/Len as the PF/C combination. In November/December they were going with Metu/Holmes as the PF/C. They quite literally have a never ending rotation of trash bigs (Holmes is actually solid).

Bottom line is they are such a disgusting mess. By trading away Fox you are basically giving the keys to Halliburton (FINALLY) and have Davion as the backup PG for player development.

You basically end up trading two inefficient players for each other, one who will be making $26 million next year in Randle and $30 million next season in Fox. Randle just turned 27 and Fox just turned 24.

Having said that, this will not happen and we will most likely made a trade for a player who doesn't fit our roster construction nor do they address an area of need.

Yeah, Holmes is good but oft-injured and Randle would be a huge upgrade for them, then having those two at the 4/5. Deal makes a lot of sense for all parties.

Then we can try to move Kemba in a separate deal. Maybe get a contract and a 2nd.

Also, it would create a nice symmetry in that I traded Fox for Randle in my fantasy league before the season started.

And take on that Harris 40 million contract at the same time?

If they want to trade Harris they will attach picks, Morey has always been the type to trade picks, and they already have several young rotational players (Maxey, Thybulle, Korkmaz, Milton). I think people underestimate that the Sixers are going to get for Simmons and think they just need to give him away. They could end up With Collins and Reddish for him and still move Harris.

Yeah, Morey is still angling for a high return. If he doesn't get it by next season, that'll be the time for the vultures to swoop in.

Collins and Reddish is a high return for Simmons? I don't think so.

Cam Reddish and RJ back together?

Don’t rule out Knicks chasing Brunson until he retires because he has Knicks ties.

If Knicks trade for Cam or Turner they will probably be resigning them.

Zion would be a guarantee lock

I'd be pretty stunned if that's what they went for this year.

I’m all in on this Reddish specifically.. feels like the Knicks might really be strategically planting the path for Zion to force his way here

cannot say this enough. we need a big that stretches the floor. this needs to be RJ's team from here on out.

Fox, Bagley

for

Randle, Knox, Kemba and Knicks FRP 2022

Some of you think it's too much. But people have traded a lot less for that FRP.

If Kings wants to balance that lineup. It's really Sabonis, Randle, Simmons and Collins that I see are available. I don't see any other All-Star level big man available.

I think it's too much but for some reason I just dont care anymore. I've made my arguments before. Randle is a failure of a primary option on a team expected to make the playoffs, Fox is a failure of a star on a rebuilding team.

I expect to make a trade for Fox with that notion in mind. Or at least I did but ya know I'm so fricken angry that I might just bail on my ideals. Just remember though, if you went on a Kings board they feel the same way about Fox. He's only a 5 assist PG, ranks in the bottom 5percentile in defense and can't shoot. So.....just know what you're getting yourself into.

This isn't a holy crap this guy is obviously a way better player trade. It's more like a let's gamble that new scenery may benefit both crappy players trade.

I totally get it and I also feel the temperature of an active teams message board on how they feel about certain players as well. Fck ESPN and their ilk that makes it sound like Fox is this all worldly player.

My reasoning on why I would trade Fox for Randle is because I am okay with Obi as a starter now. We need a ball-handler and Fox seems to be the more gettable player on the market. Comparing Fox and Randle, I think Fox has a higher ceiling or hope that he can be a no.1 option. We at least know that Randle is not that.

The other reason the frp is something I don't wanna give up is that at that point or otherwise tou would've just replaced Randle with Fox. You're timeline has just radically changed. You'll probably expect to lose and maybe even tank to some extent. I wanna either use that pick or trade it for another young player. Maybe Reddick. Now you got a Fox/RJ/Reddick perimeter to build up. Maybe you even trade Obi and the pick to move up for one of the top tier forwards.

Tuner improves this team dramatically. Mitch never showed his shooting stroke from high school. If Randle is going to stay, at least he will have driving lanes. So will RJ.

I will prefer Obi pick and roll with Turner spacing the floor.

Who is a veteran guy like Derrick Rose that we could get in a similar deal?

Rose was D-Rose for DSJ and a 2nd, right? Is there a Kevin Knox and 2nd for veteran type of deal that makes any sense?
