Curry just emphatically making his absence shown on national television

Wasn't a great shooting night by his standards, but 32/16/9 and the win against Leonard/George/Harden/Westbrook with no Murray

Is this 3rd or 4th sombor double of the season for Jokic? It was probably worst game of the season for him. Bad FG% but anlot of FTs, if he had couple less assists it would look like Embiids statline

Sorry but going 8 for 23 for Joker means Tatum is now the favorite to win it all..what a fraud.. 8-)

I don't know... Losing by 3 pts isn't the end of the world for the Warriors without Curry. It could be something if they lost 5 games in a row considering their record with Curry.

I thought he should have shot 18 or 20. The Clippers had an interesting tactic to say the least. I really hate when smaller guys think that they can foul the crap out of a bigger player due to the size difference, but they get away with it all too often. Not today, I guess, but again, I think he should have shot even more. I didn't want to bring up Embiid but since you did, this was an entirely different way of getting to the line.

Yeah this wasn’t like Embiid doing helicopters on the ground. Joker will turn and the clippers would fall down like pins to get offense fouls on him. They get to whack away at his arms and refs won’t call it as much as it should be.

Embiid scored 39 with 17 FTs and lost.

Jokic is better than him even on bad nights for his standards.

Lmao. This isn’t a common occurrence for him. Also, he had 9 assists.

Keep the criticism consistent. Ya'll hate on Embiid when he has a game like this, I never see it with Jokic. Embiid has done this stuff in wins too. Maybe not the 9 assits, but everything else. HIs assists have been up this year as well.

Look you gonna be critical of one player, you gotta be doing the same with the other. Neither is beyond reproach.

No reason for these posts. Embiid played a really nice game himself, but sometimes it's not enough. I believe you didn't have the time to watch both the Philly game and the Denver game, so these lazy comparisons of their last night's performances are as baseless as they can be from the other side. You can't just look at these statlines and decipher who had a better game based solely on that, without watching the actual games, there's just no way. And you can't know if Embiid's last night's fouls came from helicopters or whatever, maybe even none of the fouls on him were because of him doing that.

And hitting 17/17 FT is impressive. Jokic going 14/14 from the line is also insane. This type of FT shooting precision in the past would on a regular basis only come from the guards who belong among the FT% greats, so this should be enjoyed, not just criticized.

These 2 guys are insane, you guys should really try to reset this back n forth with eyetoma and bring some healthier type of communication to this thread, not all weight of posting better has to be on eyetoma. Hussein is a lost cause tho, best ignored.

Top 5 in MVP

Absolutely amazing. And he scored 30+. I didn’t believe he would make this big of a jump this year. Top 5 for me too.

Worst FG% for Jokic in a game since 10/28/2022 and he still puts up 32/16/9 with two super clutch free throws to ice the game (14 for 14 from the line).

Also...

Jokic is the most consistent player in decades. And here's proof:

Including the playoffs, last 4 seasons:

Jokic basically NEVER has a bad game. Game Score of 10 is league average, 20 is great, 30 is outstanding, 40 is ATG.

https://www.omnicalculator.com/sports/game-score

Last 4 seasons, including playoffs:

1. Jokic: 82 games Game Score 30+, 3 games with a Game Score 10 or less!! 27:1 ratio of outstanding games to bad games.

2. Embiid: 62 games Game Score 30+, 13 games 10 or less. 4.8:1 ratio of outstanding games to bad games.

3. Doncic: 55 games Game Score 30+, 16 games 10 or less. 3.4:1 ratio of outstanding games to bad games.

4. Giannis: 59 games Game Score 30+, 11 games 10 or less. 5.4:1 ratio of outstanding games to bad games.

Not exactly a small sample size, 4 seasons including playoffs.

Jokic is one of the greatest few players of the past 45 years, and, one of the top few most skilled and valuable, also.
